المستخلص: This research addresses the pivotal role that training of school library personnel plays in fostering a generation that is well-versed in knowledge and science. It explores the theoretical underpinnings of training curricula and school libraries, emphasizing their primary missions and objectives, with a particular focus on the main practical training programs in both technical and cultural activity realms. Employing a case study methodology and a quantitative approach, this research uses surveys to gauge how effectively library staff, especially those at the librarian level, adapt to the evolving demands of the library profession, with a specific emphasis on school libraries. The investigation further assesses the current training and development status of these individuals within the high school libraries of M'Sila, pinpointing the influential factors. Results from the field research highlight a significant deficiency in the training and development processes for school librarians in these institutions, underscoring the subsequent impact on library services and the cultural activities that are integral to the library's role in supporting the educational framework.
