The use of UDL has important ramifications for Iraqi universities since the country's educational system has struggled with issues including low funding, uncertain political climates, and poor infrastructure. However, UDL has become increasingly popular due to recent educational changes and a rising realization of how important it is to accommodate various learners. This research aims to give a comprehensive overview of UDL's current situation in Iraqi higher education. It will also provide details on how UDL might be effectively applied, in the opinion of academics, to enhance learning outcomes and foster inclusive learning environments. The study examines academics' attitudes on the roles of universal design for learning (UDL) using a quantitative approach. The study came to the conclusion that, despite ongoing issues with UDL's implementation and application, the majority of faculty members at Iraqi universities support and depend on "UDL" approaches in their instruction. Most academics suggest using UDL rather than more conventional methods to create more pleasant and flexible places for individuals of all ages and abilities.
