Across the globe, there is a rising interest in incorporating multicultural education into academic curricula to foster tolerance, acceptance, and understanding among diverse communities. In Iraq, a nation renowned for its abundant cultural diversity and complex historical struggles, this goal is especially significant. The study aims to investigate the extent to which multicultural education is integrated into the curriculum at Iraqi universities and how it affects the attitudes and opinions of students. The research conducted a detailed quantitative analysis that involved collecting a vast amount of data through a well-structured questionnaire. The study concluded that Iraqi students value the importance of learning about different cultures, as it broadens their perspectives, promotes cultural understanding, and fosters tolerance and empathy. They are open minded and eager to expand their knowledge about customs, traditions, and beliefs. Educational programs promoting intercultural understanding have significantly impacted their academic studies.
