يهدف البحث إلى إبراز العلاقة الجدلية بين الأدب والتربية من خلال تحديد المفهوم والأهداف والأصول بين الأدب والتربية، ودور الأديب التربوي، وترجع أهمية البحث توجيه الآباء والمربين إلى العلاقة بين الأدب والتربية، وأهمية الأدب في التربية، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي وتفعيل أسلوب تحليل المضمون التحليل الكيفي لمحتوى بعض النصوص، ومقاربة بين الأدب والتربية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج منها العلاقة بين الأدب والتربية كمفهومين علاقة ترادف فالأدب عند القدماء بمثابة التربية لنا اليوم، ومن هنا يتضح أهمية دراسة الأدب في التربية، وأن الأدب يندرج تحت أصول التربية بعنوان الأصول الأدبية للتربية كالأصول الاجتماعية والفلسفية والسياسية والتاريخية والأخلاقية والنفسية، أن الأهداف في الأدب والتربية واحدة ومصادر اشتقاق الأهداف واحدة وإن اختلفت الوسائل بينهما.
The research aims to highlight the dialectical relationship between literature and education by defining the concepts, objectives, and foundations of both fields, as well as the role of the educational writer. The importance of the research lies in guiding parents and educators towards understanding the relationship between literature and education, and the significance of literature in education. The researcher employed a descriptive methodology and activated content analysis through qualitative examination of certain texts, drawing comparisons between literature and education. The study reached several conclusions, including that the relationship between literature and education, as concepts, is one of synonymy; literature, according to the ancients, serves as education for us today. Hence, the importance of studying literature in education becomes evident, with literature falling under the foundations of education, specifically the literary foundations of education, alongside social, philosophical, political, historical, ethical, and psychological foundations. The objectives in literature and education are identical, and the sources of deriving these objectives are the same, even though the means may differ between them.
