The article delves into the challenges and nuances associated with legal terminology, shedding light on this intricate task’s profound cultural and linguistic implications. From this perspective, it is essential for the translator, in addition to linguistic skills, to have an in-depth knowledge of the cultural and legal context specific to Algerian society. This ensures a translation that is not only accurate but also sensitive to cultural nuances.

Cet article met en lumière l’importance cruciale des distinctions linguistiques lors de la traduction juridique, avec une focalisation particulière sur la traduction du droit pénal en tamazight en Algérie. Les auteurs insistent sur le fait que la norme juridique confère une spécificité incontestable au texte juridique, soulignant ainsi la nécessité pour le traducteur de posséder une compréhension approfondie à la fois du domaine juridique et des langues impliquées.
