المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى التعرف على الكفايات التربوية والتشكيلية الواجب توافرها في الاستراتيجيات المعرفية لتعلم فنون الحداثة، كذلك تحديد مفهوم التأويل لبناء المعرفة وإدارتها في إطار دراسة المحتوى البصري وفقاً لنموذج مكارثي(4MAT) لتنمية التفكير البصري، إلى جانب طرح دور التفكير البصري في تعزيز الكفايات المعرفية لفنون الحداثة. استخدم البحث المنهج شبه التجريبي القائم على تصميم المعالجة التجريبية ذي المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة لعينة من طلاب كلية التصاميم والفنون التطبيقية عددها (۱۲) مع القياس القبلي والبعدي للمتغيرات باستخدام نموذج مكارثي في تدريس مقررات فنون الحداثة وتمثلت في المفاهيم التشكيلية المتضمنة في مقررات فنون الحداثة، وأنماط التعلم والتفكير في مجال الفنون البصرية. قام الباحث بتصميم اختبار المفاهيم الحداثية للفنون البصرية تناولت نتائج البحث الاختلاف في أنماط التعلم والمتعلمين يرجع إلى وظائف نصفي الدماغ التي تتحكم في مخرجات التعلم من سلوك كذلك الدوافع الشخصية والأدائية لاختلاف أسلوب تعلمهم، وأوصى البحث بالتعرف على المشكلات القائمة في تدريس وتعلم جزء من المحتوى المعرفي الخاص بالثقافة الفنية والتذوق الفني لفنون الحداثة في مقررات الفنون البصرية.

The aim of the research is to identify the educational and compositional competences to be available in the cognitive strategies for learning the art of modernity, as well as to define the concept of interpretation to build and manage knowledge within the framework of the study of visual content according to the McCarthy Model (MAT 4) for the development of visual thinking In addition to putting forward the role of visual thinking in promoting the cognitive competences of the art of modernity. The research used the semi-experimental curriculum based on the design of experimental treatment with experimental and controlled groups of students of the Faculty of Design and Applied Arts (12) with tribal and remote measurement of variables using the McCarthy model in the teaching of modern art courses and consisted of the plastic concepts included in the courses of modern art, and patterns of learning and thinking in the field of visual arts. The researcher designed the test of modernist concepts of visual arts. The research proved that the difference in learning patterns and learners is due to the functions of the two hemispheres of the brain that control the learning outcomes of behavior as well as personal and performance motives for the different method of learning, and recommended research to identify problems in teaching and learning part of the cognitive content of artistic culture and artistic taste of the art of modernity in the courses of visual arts.
