المستخلص: أصبح تطبيق الجودة داخل مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي مطلبا ملحا وحيويا وذلك من أجل التعامل مع متغيرات عصر يتسم بالتسارع المعرفي والتكنولوجي، فالجودة والاعتماد تساعد مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي على استثمار كل الطاقات والموارد البشرية لتحقيق أهدافها التعليمية من جهة، مع ضمان إخراج منتج تعليمي على مستوى منافس داخليا وعالميا من جهة أخرى. والخدمة الاجتماعية أحد مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي التي تسعى إلى تطبيق الجودة والاعتماد في تعليمها إيمانا منها بأن الجودة هي جوهر العملية التعليمية كما إنها أداة التقدم والتنمية والنهوض بالمجتمع، ومن هذا المنطلق سنحاول في هذا الفصل تسليط الضوء على موضوع جودة تعليم الخدمة الاجتماعية نظرا لأهمية هذا الموضوع في الارتقاء بمستوى تعليم الخدمة الاجتماعية وتطويره، لذا سيتناول هذا الفصل العناصر الآتية (أهمية الجودة والاعتماد في مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي ومميزاتها، أهداف الجودة والاعتماد في مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي، العناصر المتداخلة لتحقيق الجودة في التعليم الجامعي، مبادئ الجودة والاعتماد في مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي، معايير الجودة والاعتماد في التعليم الجامعي ومؤشرات قياسها، خصائص وأنواع الجودة والاعتماد في التعليم الجامعي، تطبيق الجودة الشاملة في مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي، اختصاصات وحدة ضمان الجودة بالمؤسسات التعليمية الجامعية، معوقات تطبيق الجودة والاعتماد في التعليم الجامعي، بعض التجارب العالمية والعربية في مجال الجودة والاعتماد).

The application of quality within university education institutions has become an urgent and vital requirement in order to deal with the changes of an era characterized by knowledge and technological acceleration. quality and accreditation help university education institutions to invest all their energies and human resources to achieve their educational goals on the one hand, while ensuring the output of an educational product at a competitive level internally and internationally on the other. Social service is one of the university education institutions that seeks to apply quality and accreditation in its education, believing that quality is the essence of the educational process and it is also a tool for progress, development and advancement of society, and from this point of view we will try in this chapter to shed light on the topic of quality of social service education due to the importance of this topic in raising the level of social service education and its development, so this chapter will address the following elements (the importance of quality and accreditation in university education institutions and their features, the objectives of quality and accreditation in university education institutions, the interrelated elements to achieve quality in university education, the principles of quality and accreditation in university institutions University education, quality standards and accreditation in university education and their measurement indicators, characteristics and types of quality and accreditation in university education, the application of comprehensive quality in university educational institutions, the specialties of the quality assurance unit in university educational institutions, obstacles to the application of quality and accreditation in university education, some international and Arab experiences in the field of quality and accreditation)
