المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى تطوير أداء شيوخ المعاهد الثانوية الأزهرية في ضوء مدخل القيادة التكيفية، واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي؛ حيث طبقت استبانة على عينة قوامها (1125) من المعلمين بالمعاهد الثانوية الأزهرية، وقد تم استطلاع آراء أفراد العينة حول مستوى ممارسة شيوخ المعاهد الثانوية الأزهرية لأبعاد القيادة التكيفية، وهي: القدرة على التكيف، والقدرة على التعلم، والقدرة على إيجاد علاقات إيجابية، والحوكمة الفاعلة، وإيجاد حلول مربحة للجميع، وتوصل البحث إلى أن الدرجة الإجمالية لمستوى ممارسة شيوخ المعاهد الثانوية الأزهرية لأبعاد القيادة التكيفية (1.53) وبمستوى ضعيفة، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات أفراد العينة حول مستوى ممارسة شيوخ المعاهد الثانوية الأزهرية لأبعاد القيادة التكيفية تعزى لمتغير النوع (ذكر- أنثى)، بينما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) تعزى لمتغير المنطقة (القاهرة- الدقهلية- سوهاج)، وانتهى البحث بوضع تصور مقترح لتحسين أداء شيوخ المعاهد الثانوية الأزهرية والذي يتكون من: هدف التصور، ومبرراته، ومنطلقاته، وأبعاده وآليات تنفيذه، وأخيرا متطلبات تطبيقه.

The research aimed to develop the performance of elders of Al-Azhar secondary institutes in light of the adaptive leadership approach. The research used the descriptive approach. A questionnaire was applied to a sample of (1125) teachers in Al-Azhar secondary institutes, and the opinions of the sample members were surveyed about the level of practice of the sheikhs of Al-Azhar secondary institutes of the dimensions of adaptive leadership, which are: the ability to adapt, the ability to learn, the ability to create positive relationships, and effective governance. And finding win-win solutions for all. The research concluded that the overall score for the level of practice of the sheikhs of Al-Azhar secondary institutes for the dimensions of adaptive leadership is (1.53) and at a weak level, and that there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample members regarding the level of practice of the sheikhs of Al-Azhar secondary institutes for the dimensions of adaptive leadership due to the variable Gender (male - female), while there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) due to the region variable (Cairo- Dakahlia- Sohag). The research ended by developing a proposed vision for improving the performance of elders in Al-Azhar secondary institutes, which consists of: the goal of the vision, its justifications, and its starting points., its dimensions and implementation mechanisms, and finally the requirements for its application.
