|a تعد الدراسة في التراث القبطي أمر هام لكشف الكثير عن حياة أجدادنا المصريين في الحقبة التاريخية المعروفة اصطلاحا بـ"الحقبة القبطية"، وتعتبر دراسة طب أمراض العيون أحد فروع هذا التراث، والتي تهدف من خلالها إلى رسم تصور كامل لأمراض العيون التي كانت شائعة بين الأقباط، من خلال تحديد جميع أمراض العيون وتصنيفها، والتي يمكن تقسيمها بشكل أساسي إلى أمراض عيون داخلية وأمراض عيون خارجية، كما يأمل البحث في تحديد المصطلحات والتعبيرات اللغوية التي استخدمها الأقباط للتعبير عن هذه الأمراض، وكذلك التعرف على الإجراءات الطبية والممارسات العلاجية المتبعة لعلاج أمراض العيون، والتي تشير إلى ممارسة الأقباط لكل من الطب العقلاني العلمي متمثلا في إعطاء وصفات علاجية وإجراء جراحات العيون، وكذلك ممارسة الطب الروحاني المتمثل في الشفاء الإعجازي الذي يتضح في المعجزات التي حققها السيد المسيح والقديسون لعلاج أمراض العيون المستعصية التي لم يتوصل لعلاجها بالطب العقلاني، وكذلك الإيمان بالشفاء الديني المتمثل في الصلاة واللجوء إلى الأديرة والكنائس اللذين كان لهما دور هام في علاج أمراض العيون، وسوف يتم تناوله في هذه الدراسة، بالإضافة إلى إلقاء الضوء على المعالجين والأطباء الأقباط، ومحاولة تحديد المتخصصين منهم في علاج أمراض العيون. ونظرا لتعدد وكثرة أمراض العيون التي تحتاج إلى العديد من الدراسات، فقد استهدف البحث دراسة أحد أنواع هذه الأمراض، وهي أمراض العيون الداخلية، التي يأمل البحث بعمل دراسة شاملة لها تتمثل في دراسة تفصيلية لكل مرض على حدى، ودراسته من الناحية اللغوية وتحديد أعراض المرض والوصفات العلاجية المحددة له. وتتبع منهجية البحث الدراسة التحليلية الوصفية لكل ما ذكر عن طب العيون في المصادر القبطية، التي يمكن تحديدها زمنيا ببداية القرن الرابع الميلادي وحتى القرن الحادي عشر الميلادي.
|b The study of the Coptic heritage is important to reveal a lot about the life of the Egyptians in the historical era known as the “Coptic period”. The study of ophthalmology is considered one of the branches of this heritage, which aims to draw a full image of eye diseases that were common among the Copts, by identifying all eye diseases and their classification, which divide mainly into internal eye diseases and external eye diseases. The research also hopes to identify the linguistic terms and expressions used by the Copts to express these diseases, as well as identify the medical procedures and therapeutic practices used to treat eye diseases, which indicate the practice of Copts for both rational medicines, represented in giving medical recipes and performing eye surgeries, as well as practicing spiritual medicine represented in miraculous healing, which is evident in the miracles achieved by Jesus and the saints to treat incurable eye diseases, as well as the belief in religious healing represented in prayer and resorting to the monasteries and churches that had an important role in the treatment of eye diseases and will be addressed in this study, in addition to shedding light on healers and doctors Copts and try to identify those who specialize in treating eye diseases. The research aims to study internal eye diseases, through a comprehensive study of them represented in a detailed study of each disease separately, studying it from a linguistic side, identifying the symptoms of the disease and prescriptions for treatment specified for it. The research methodology follows the descriptive analytical study of everything mentioned about ophthalmology in the Coptic sources, which can be determined chronologically from the beginning of the 4th century AD to the 11th century AD.
