المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى إبراز دور قنوات اليوتيوب YouTube للاتحادات والجمعيات المهنية العربية في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات باعتبارها لسان حال المتخصصين وحاملة لواء التطوير في دولتها، من خلال عرض السمات العددية والنوعية لهذه القنوات، وتوضيح مدى تفاعل المتخصصين معها، وتحليل سمات المحتوى الموضوعي لملفات الفيديو المتاحة على القنوات، ومعرفة إذا كانت ملفات الفيديو المتاحة على قنوات اليوتيوب YouTube تساهم في دعم التعلم الذاتي ورفع الوعي المعرفي لدى المتابعين عن التخصص أم لا، بالإضافة إلى إبراز التحديات التي تواجه الاتحادات والجمعيات المهنية للتوسع والتطوير، وأخيرا قدمت الباحثة اقتراحا بمجموعة من الآليات لاستثمار محتوى القنوات تعليميا وماديا بشكل يحقق التنمية المستدامة للمؤسسة الأم وللتخصص، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، بالإضافة إلى استخدام أسلوب تحليل المضمون، وذلك منذ بداية نشأة القناة على منصة يوتيوب وحتى 31/12/2022، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أبرزها أن الاتحاد العربي للمكتبات (اعلم) يعد أكثر المؤسسات والجمعيات حرصا على التواجد على أكثر من منصة من منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، خاصة المنصات الأكثر استخداما وفعالية وشهرة، كما تصدرت عدد ملفات الفيديو المتاحة خلال 2022 في الجمعية المصرية للمكتبات والمعلومات والأرشيف المركز الأول والتي بلغت 37 فيديو، بالإضافة إلى أن جميع الندوات المتاحة في قنوات عينة الدراسة تقع في صميم التخصص، وهذا يؤكد على أهمية تعريف الطلاب والخريجين بهذه المصادر لتعم الفائدة، وأخيرا أن قنوات الاتحاد والجمعيات المهنية العربية تحتاج إلى مزيد من التطوير والدعم في العمل المؤسسي والابتعاد عن الفردية في الأداء، من خلال تفعيل التعاون بين الجمعيات والأقسام الأكاديمية ورواد التخصص، ليكون الهدف الأسمى للجميع هو رفعة التخصص والمهنة ودعم ومساندة المنتسبين للتخصص لتحقيق تنمية مستدامة للتخصص.

The study aimed to elucidate the role of YouTube channels of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI) as a mouthpiece for specialists and a standard bearer for development in their country, by displaying the numerical and qualitative features of these channels, clarifying the extent of specialists’ interaction with them, and analyzing the features of the objective content of the video files available on the channels. In addition, it is an attempt to find out whether the video files available on YouTube channels contribute to supporting self-learning and raising followers’ cognitive awareness about the specialty or not, in addition to highlighting the challenges facing professional unions and associations for expansion and development. Finally, the researcher presented a proposal for a set of mechanisms for investing in the channels’ content educationally and financially in a way that achieves sustainable development for the original institution and the specialty. Methodologically, the study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, in addition to using the content analysis method, from the beginning of the channel’s inception on the YouTube platform until 31/12/2022. The study reached several results, the most prominent of which is that the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI) is considered the most institution and association keen to be present on more than one social media platform, especially the most widely used, effective and famous platforms. The number of video files available during 2022 in the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI) and Archives topped first place, 37 videos, in addition to the fact that all seminars available in the sample channels are closely connected to the field of specialization, and this emphasizes the importance of introducing students and graduates to these sources so that the benefit may prevail, and that the channels of the AFLI need further development and support in institutional work and moving away from individualism in performance, by activating cooperation between associations and academic departments, and pioneers of the specialization, so that the ultimate goal of all is to advance the specialization and the profession, and to support and assist those affiliated with the specialization to achieve sustainable develop ment of the specialization.
