المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي إلى (تحليل محتوى كتاب علم الأرض للصف الخامس العلمي وفق معايير NCSS) أجريت الدراسة في العام الدراسي (2022_2023م) ولتحقيق هدف البحث اعتمدت الباحثة معايير المجلس الوطني الأمريكي (NCSS) أداة التحليل الخاصة بتحليل محتوى كتاب علم الأرض للصف الخامس العلمي، التي بلغت (10) مجالات و(69) معيارا، ثم عرضتها على البعض من المتخصصين في العلوم التربوية والنفسية وذلك لإبداء آرائهم وملحوظاتهم فيها، وفي ضوء ذلك تم تعديل بعض الفقرات شمل مجتمع البحث محتوى كتاب علم الأرض للصف الخامس العلمي الطبعة الرابعة الذي تدرس في العام الدراسي (2022-2023) وقد استبعدت الباحثة (المقدمة، الفهرست، والأسئلة التي ترد في نهاية فصول الكتاب) وبذلك أصبح عدد الصفحات الخاضعة للتحليل (111) صفحة، وللتأكد من ثبات التحليل استعملت الباحثة طريقة التحليل وتم استعمال وحدة الفكرة في التحليل ولكونها ملائمة لهدف البحث وطبيعة المحتوى المحلل وتم التحليل على وفق أسس وخطوات ثابتة. ولغرض استخراج النتائج استعملت الباحثة التكرارات والنسب المئوية لمعايير المجلس الوطني الأمريكي للدراسات الاجتماعية NCSS، وأسفرت نتائج البحث: إن أعلى مجال حققه هو مجال (الناس والأماكن والبيئات) بواقع (210) تكرارا، يليه مجال الثقافة) بواقع (202) تكرارا، أما مجال (الارتباطات العالمية) فحقق (152) تكرارا، ثم يأتي مجال (الوقت والاستمرارية والتغير) بواقع (76) تكرارا، بعد ذلك يأتي مجال الهوية والتطور الفردي بواقع (56) تكرارا ومجال العلم والتكنلوجيا والمجتمع) بواقع (12) تكرارا، أما مجال (النفوذ والسلطة والحكومة) ومجال (الأفراد والمجموعات والمؤسسات)، مجال (الإنتاج والتوريع والاستهلاك)، مجال (المثاليات والممارسات المدنية) لم يحقق أي تكرار يذكر، ومن خلال النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث الحالي توصلت الباحثة إلى الاستنتاجات الآتية:- إن المعايير NCSS لم تتحقق في كتاب علم الأرض للصف الخامس العلمي. إهمال الكتاب الكثير من القضايا والمواضيع الرئيسة وما تتضمنه من أفكار فرعية لكل مفهوم من المفاهيم مثل الاقتصادية والاجتماعية. وقد أوصت الباحثة بتوصيات عدة منها: إفادة العاملين في مجال تأليف الكتب في العراق من معايير المجلس الوطني الأمريكي للدراسات الاجتماعية (NCSS) إعادة النظر في كتاب علم الأرض للصف الخامس العلمي وإثرائه في المجالات التي لم تحقق أي نسب أو ضعيفة والتي أشارت أليها نتائج البحث كمجال (المثاليات والممارسات المدنية) ومجال (الإنتاج والتوزيع والاستهلاك) ومجال (العلم والتكنولوجيا والمجتمع). وقد قدمت الباحثة مجموعة من المقترحات منها: تصميم أنموذج لتقويم المناهج في العراق وفق معايير المجلس الوطني الأمريكي للدراسات الاجتماعي (NCSS) إجراء دراسة تهدف إلى معرفة اتجاهات الطلبة نحو معايير المجلس الوطني الأمريكي للدراسات الاجتماعية NCSS

The current research aims to (analyze the content of the book of earth science for the fifth scientific grade according to the NCSS standards) The study was conducted in the academic year (2022_2023 AD) and to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher adopted the American National Council Standards (NCSS) analysis tool for analyzing the content of the earth science book for the fifth grade science, which amounted to (10) fields and (69) standards, then she presented it to some specialists in educational and psychological sciences in order to express their opinions and observations therein, and in light of that some paragraphs have been modified. The research community included the content of the Earth Science book for the fifth scientific grade, fourth edition), which was taught in the academic year (2022-2023), and the researcher excluded (the introduction, the index, and the questions that appear at the end of the chapters of the book). And to ensure the stability of the analysis, the researcher used the method of analysis, and the idea and topic were used as units of analysis, because they are appropriate to the research goal and the nature of the analyzed content, and the analysis was carried out according to fixed foundations and steps. For the purpose of extracting the results, the researcher used the frequencies and percentages of the standards of the American National Council for Social Studies NCSS, and the results of the research resulted in the following: (Global Connections) and it achieved (152) iterations, then comes the field of (time, continuity and change) with (76) iterations, after that comes the field of (identity and individual development) with (56) iterations and the field of (science, technology and society) with (12) iterations As for the field of (influence, authority and government), the field of (individuals, groups and institutions), the field of (production, distribution and consumption), the field of (civil ideals and practices), it did not achieve any significant repetition, and through the results of the current research, the researcher reached the following conclusions:- The NCSS standards were not met in the fifth grade science book on earth science. The book neglects many of the main issues and topics and the sub-ideas it contains for each of the concepts such as economic and social. The researcher made several recommendations, including: Benefiting workers in the field of writing books in Iraq from the standards of the American National Council for Social Studies (NCSS). Reconsidering the book of earth science for the fifth scientific grade and enriching it in areas that did not achieve any percentages or weak and which were indicated by the results of the research as the field (ideals and civil practices) and the field (production, distribution and consumption) and the field (science, technology and society). The researcher presented a set of proposals, including: Designing a model for evaluating curricula in Iraq according to the standards of the American National Council for Social Studies (NCSS) Conducting a study aimed at knowing students' attitudes towards the standards of the American National Council for Social Studies NCSS.
