|b This article deepens the understanding of anxiety in learners regarding the development of oral skills in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) within the Algerian university setting. A questionnaire-based survey of 150 learners, encompassing both undergraduate students at the University of Ouargla, reveals that anxiety related to communication in French, learner adaptation strategies, and the learning context exert a substantial influence on the development of oral competence in FLE. Furthermore, this research assesses the pedagogical and didactic implications associated with the findings, thereby contributing to the enhancement of FLE instruction in Algeria.
|d Cet article approfondit la compréhension de l'anxiété chez les apprenants dans l'apprentissage de l'oral en Français Langue Étrangère (FLE) au sein de l'université algérienne. Basée sur une recherche quantitative, une enquête par questionnaire a été menée auprès de 150 étudiants de licence et de master à l'Université de Ouargla. L'étude explore l'effet de l'anxiété sur leurs compétences liées à la communication en français, les stratégies d'adaptation mises en place par les apprenants, ainsi que les spécificités du contexte d'apprentissage sur le développement des compétences orales. Les résultats obtenus mettent en évidence une influence significative de ces facteurs sur la performance en FLE. Enfin, l'étude propose des recommandations pédagogiques visant à améliorer l'enseignement de l'oral en FLE dans le contexte universitaire algérien.
