إن مفهوم التنمية المستدامة من الموضوعات الحيوية والأساسية في الوقت الحاضر والتي ينبغي أن تكون محور العملية التعليمية في كل المؤسسات التعليمية، لما لها من أهمية في الخطط والمشاريع التنموية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والتوعوية والثقافية. هدف البحث التعرف على مستوى التنمية المستدامة لدى طلبة المرحلة المتوسطة وكذلك معرفة أثر البرنامج التربوي في تعزيز مفهوم التنمية المستدامة لدى طلبة المرحلة المتوسطة. واعدت الباحثة أداة لقياس مفهوم التنمية المستدامة وتكونت الأداة من (30) فقرة بصيغتها النهائية ذو بدائل ثلاثية وكذلك أعدت الباحثة برنامج لتعزيز مفهوم التنمية المستدامة وتكون البرنامج من (12) درسا، وبلغت عينة البرنامج (60) طالبا وطالبة قسمت إلى أربع مجاميع متساوية العدد مجموعتين تجريبيتين ومجموعتين ضابطتين، وتم معالجة البيانات إحصائيا باستخدام الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) وتوصلت الباحثة للنتائج الأتية. إن عينة البحث تقع ضمن المستوى دون المتوسط من التنمية المستدامة- وان هناك اثر للبرنامج التربوي في تعزيز مفهوم التنمية المستدامة، ولا توجد فروق بين المجموعتين التجريبيتين (ذكور وإناث) في الاختبار البعدي، وان هناك فروق بين المجموعة التجريبية ذكور والضابطة إناث ولصالح الذكور في الاختبار البعدي، ويوجد فرق بين التجريبية ذكور وضابطة ذكور ولصالح الذكور في المجموعة التجريبية في الاختبار البعدي، وهناك فرق بين التجريبية إناث وضابطة إناث ولصالح التجريبية إناث، ويوجد فرق بين التجريبية إناث وضابطة ذكور ولصالح التجريبية إناث في الاختبار البعدي، ولا يوجد فرق بين المجموعة الضابطة (ذكور وإناث) في الاختبار البعدي، وتوصلت الباحثة إلى مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات.
The concept of sustainable development is considered one of the vital and essential issues at the present time which must be the essence of the educational process in all aspects; for its importance in developmental, economic, social, guidance and cultural planning and projects. The current research aims at investigating the sustainable development level among intermediate school students and also the effect of an educational program in enhancing sustainable development concept among the intermediate school students. The researcher prepared an instrument to measure the sustainable development concept. It consists of (30) final formula items with three alternatives, also she prepared a program to enhance the sustainable development concept, it consists of (12) lessons, the program sample consists of (6) students, divided into four equal groups, two experimental groups and two control groups, the data was processed statistically using SPSS, the researcher reached the following results: The research sample of the sustainable development is medium, and there is an effect of an educational program in enhancing it at lower level, there are no differences between the two groups (males- females) in the posttest. There are differences among the males experimental group and the females control group in favor of males in the post-test. There is a difference among the males experimental group and females control group in favor of the experimental group in the post-test. There is a difference among the males experimental group and males control group in favor of the experimental group in the post-test. There is a difference among the females experimental group and females control group in favor of the experimental group in the post-test. There are no differences among the control group (males-females) in the post-test.
