المستخلص: إن علم النفس الفارق هو ميدان مهم لدراسة الفروق الفردية بالمنهجية العلمية، وهو أحد فروع علم النفس العام الذي هو بمثابة الخلفية النظرية العامة لجميع فروع علم النفس، حيث يتناول جميع مظاهر الحياه النفسية من خلال دراسته لجوانب السلوك المختلفة، بهدف فهمه، وتفسيره، والتحكم والتنبؤ بها، ولا يمكن تحقيق هذه الأهداف دون دراسة علمية متخصصة ودقيقة، كما لا يمكن تعميم نتائج آية دراسة إن لم تشمل أكبر عدد ممكن من الأفراد، فكما عرفنا مسبقا، أن الأفراد يختلفون ويتباينون فيما بينهم في كل ما يمتلكون من صفات، وكذلك بالنسبة للفرد ذاته، فصفاته تتباين من وقت لأخر، ومكان لآخر. إن الاهتمام بدراسة الفروق الفردية يفيد في معرفة الكثير عن الأفراد والجماعات، مما يساعد بالتالي في اختيار الأفراد فيما يؤهلهم للدراسة في تخصصات معينة، أو مهن معينة كل حسب قدراته، وما يتميز به... لذلك فدراسة علم النفس للفروق الفردية، يزود المعنيين في التخصصات الدراسية، والمهنية، والاجتماعية،... وفي أي مجال من مجالات الحياه بالمعلومات التي تساعد في التعامل الأفراد كل بحسب مستواه العقلي، ولإعطاء كل فرد حقه الممارسة دوره الذي يناسبه في مجال معين، مما يساعد في تحقيق الأهداف السامية للأفراد والمجتمعات. أما في ميدان علم النفس التربوي، وهو كذلك أحد فروع علم النفس العام، والذي يهدف إلى دراسة وفهم سلوك المتعلمين في قاعة الدرس، والبيئة الدراسية، وكل ما يمكن أن يؤثر في عملية التعلم بما فيها المعلم والمتعلم والمواد والمناهج الدراسية، وطرائق التدريس، ووسائل التعلم، والبيئة التعليمية عموما، لذلك عنى هذا العلم بدراسة الفروق الفردية للمتعلمين لما يتعلق بقدراتهم العقلية، وما يحمله كل فرد فيهم من خصائص شخصية، واهتمامات وميول، ودوافع،... كما يهتم هذا العلم، بالإرشاد الصفي، والصحة النفسية للمتعلمين، بهدف الوصول بهم إلى أقصى حد ممكن من الفهم، والتعلم، وتحقيق النجاح، والنمو السليم في جميع مظاهره ومجالاته عقليا، ومعرفيا، وانفعاليا، واجتماعيا. لذلك، فان علم النفس التربوي ميدان مهم لتشخيص الفروق الفردية، من خلال تعرف خصائص المتعلمين، مما يمكن المعلم من فهمهم، وتحديد قدراتهم ومستوياتهم، وبالتالي ليتمكن المعلم من التعامل معهم، وتطبيق ما يناسب كل فرد فيهم من طرائق، ومناهج، واستراتيجيات تربوية وتعليمية تساعد في إيصال المعلومات، والمعارف والعلوم المختلفة إليهم بيسر، ولتحقيق كل تلك الأهداف في ضوء الحصول على المعلومات والبيانات عنهم.

Differential psychology is an important field for the study of individual differences using scientific methodology, it is one of the branches of general psychology, which is the general theoretical background for all branches of psychology, it deals with all aspects of psychological life through its study of the different aspects of behavior with the aim of understanding, explaining, controlling and predicting it, these goals cannot be achieved without a specialized and accurate scientific study, and the results of any study cannot be generalised unless it includes the largest possible number of individuals, as we have previously known, individuals differ and vary among themselves in all the qualities they possess, and the same applies to the individual himself, as his qualities vary from one time to another and from one place to another. Interest in studying individual differences helps in knowing a lot about individuals and groups, which in turn helps in choosing individuals that qualify them to study in specific specializations, or specific professions, each according to his abilities and what distinguishes him, so the study of psychology for individual differences provides those concerned with academic, professional and social specializations.. in any field of life, with information that helps individuals deal with each other according to their mental level and to give each individual his right to practice the role that suits him in a specific field, which helps in achieving the lofty goals of individual’s and societies. As for the field of educational psychology, which is also one of the branches of general psychology, which aims to study and understand the behavior of learners in the classroom and the educational environment, and everything that can affect the learning process, including the teacher, the learner, the materials, the curricula, the teaching methods, the learning tools, and the educational environment in general. therefore, this science is concerned with studying the in relation to their mental abilities, and what each individual carries of personal characteristics, interests, tendencies and motivations…this science is also concerned with classroom guidance and the psychological health of learners with the aim of bringing them to the maximum possible level of understanding, learning and achieving success, and healthy growth in all its aspects and areas, mentally, cognitively, emotionally and socially. therefore, educational psychology is an important field for diagnosing individual differences by identifying the characteristics of learners, which enables the teacher to understand them and determine their abilities and levels, thus, the teacher can deal with them and apply the educational and teaching methods, curricula, and strategies that suit each individual, which help in conveying information, knowledge and various sciences to them easily, to achieve all these goals in light of obtaining information and data about them.
