يعيش عصر اليوم ثورة تكنولوجية ويشهد انفجاراً معلوماتياً، واصطبحت التغيرات التي يمر بها العالم مرتبطة بالتدفق للمعلومات والإمكانات الهائلة لتخزينها ومعالجتها. يتطلب ذلك من العملية التعليمية مجاراة هذا التطور واستخدام نواتجه وتعد النماذج التدريسية الحديثة واحد من الأساليب التعليمية المستخدمة لأجل تحقيق ذلك. لذلك جاء البحث الحالي نتيجة الشعور بالحاجة إلى تطوير أساليب التدريس المتبعة حالياً والتي أفرزت ضعفاً في مستوى تحصيل الطلبة وهذا يتطلب استخدام أساليب وتقنيات حديثة تسهم في رفع مستوى التحصيل الدراسي. لذلك يهدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على: (فاعلية استخدام أنموذج وودز في تحصيل طلاب الصف الأول المتوسط في مادة الجغرافية) من خلال التحقق من صحة الفرضية التالية "لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة معنوية (0.05) بين متوسط تحصيل درجات الطلاب الذين يدرسون مادة الجغرافية باستخدام أنموذج وودز للصف الأول المتوسط ومتوسط تحصيل درجات الطلاب الذين يدرسون المادة نفسها بالطريقة الاعتيادية بين مجموعتي البحث. اختيرت متوسطة أبي ذر للبنين في مركز محافظة النجف عينة لتجربة البحث وتكونت العينة من 57 طالبا" من طلاب الصف الأول المتوسط وزعت على مجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة. تم إجراء تكافئ مجموعتي البحث في التحصيل الدراسي السابق والعمر الزمني بالأشهر. ولأجل قياس مدى تحصيل الطلاب في مادة الجغرافية بعد تطبيق التجربة قام الباحث بإعداد اختبار تحصيلي ضم 40 فقرة من نوع الاختيار من متعدد وتم التحقق من صدق الاختبار بعرضه على الخبراء والمختصين. وباستعمال الاختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين أظهرت النتائج تفوق المجموعة التجريبية التي تدرس باستخدام أنموذج وودز على المجموعة الضابطة التي تدرس بالطريقة التقليدية. وفي ضوء النتائج التي تم التوصل اليها يوصي الباحث بإجراء دراسة مماثلة واستخدام أنموذج وودز في تدريس مادة الجغرافية.
Today the world is witnessing industrial technological revolution with huge unrestricted informational phenomena and the changes that the world is witnessing is connected with information outcome and abilities to be stored and processed. Thus, educational procedure has to match for this progress and use its outcomes. The modern teaching types can be considered one of the educational processes to be used for achieving that. For this reason, this study has been implemented owing to the necessity of developing the current methods of teaching in our schools, which, unfortunately, reflects weakness in learning of pupils; this of course, requires processing modern and technological methods that contribute in promoting and improving the current educational level. This study aims at investigating and acquainting the following: Efficiency of using Woods pattern in the first-intermediate grade pupils' learning in geography through verifying the theory "there are no statistical evident at moral evident level of 0.5% among average female pupils studying principles of general geography of the first-intermediate grade, and average learning scores of female pupils who study the same subject in the ordinary way within the two groups of this study. Al-Kufa Secondary School, in Kufa/ Najaf Province, was chosen as a sample for experimenting this study, and the sample involving 57 girls in the first intermediate grade was divided into two empirical groups, and equivalence between the two groups in learning was done with taking into account age in months. And for measuring scope of learning geography among girls, the researcher has set up learning test consisting of 40 items of choosing from multiplication and the test was presented to expert and specialized scholars for verification of information. Via using T-test on two separate samples, the results showed superiority of the empirical group to the control group that depend in its learning on the traditional method. The researcher recommends, in the light of the results, conducting similar studies, using Woods Pattern in teaching geography.
