المستخلص: سعت العديد من الطروحات لتحليل المدينة العربية الاسلامية وبيان خصائصها الشكلية والتركيبية بوصفها مرجعا يمكن اعتماده لتحقيق التواصل ألزماني والمكاني في مقابل الانقطاع الذي أفرزته المدن الحديثة وبيئتها الحضرية، وما نتج عنه من مشاكل حضرية وحضارية أثرت سلبا في المجتمع المعاصر، فالفضاء الحضري الذي صمم تطبيقا لمبادئ الشريعة والسنة، وكما اثبتت الطروحات، لطالما كان المحتوي الاجتماعي لشاغليه.
وضحت الدراسات والبحوث استراتيجية التواصل في العمارة، في مجالات وتخصصات مختلفة، ومن وجهات نظر عدة، وخاصة في ما يتعلق بالفضاء الحضري، وكيفية خلق النتاج المعماري المتواصل. إلا إن فهم هذا الموضوع ما زال غير واضحا، ويقع في مستويات عدة متعلقة ببعضها، تستلزم التدرج بها لحل هذه الإشكالية، مما شكل حافزا أساسيا لقيام هذا البحث في ضوء أسس شاملة وموضوعية لتفسير مقوماته الأساسية.
بموجب ذلك تبنى البحث توجها نحو توضيح استراتيجية التواصل الشكلي في الفضاء الحضري بهدف استخلاص المفردات الشكلية للفضاء الخضري في المدينة العربية الإسلامية واعادة استثمارها بوصفها مراجعا شكلية في النتاج المعاصر لتحقيق التواصل ألزماني- المكاني وتأكيد هوية المدينة العربية الإسلامية ويعكس خصوصيتها.
وحدد هدف البحث في الكشف عن أسس الية التواصل الشكلي ضمن الفضاء الحضري في النتاج المعاصر، مفترضا تأثر استراتيجية التواصل بتلك الآلية. وقد أظهرت نتائج التحليل لاختبار فرضية البحث في نتاجات معاصرة صممت لتعكس الخصائص الشكلية للفضاء الحضري في المدينة الإسلامية، الأهمية الفاعلة لمجموعة من المؤشرات التي جرى اشتقاقها عبر مجموعة من عمليات الانتخاب والتركيب والانتقاء، ومن ثم إمكانية تحقيق تصميم معاصر يعكس الهوية الإسلامية للفضاء بصيغة معاصرة وفق آلية التواصل التي طرحها البحث، وفي ضوء ذلك جرى طرح استنتاجات البحث وتوصياته.

Many literatures aimed to analysis the Islamic Arabic cities and clear their formal and structural properties as an important reference that can be used to achieve temporal and spatial continuity, due to the discontinuity of the modem cities and their built environment, which causes numerous urban and cultural problems and their negative influence on contemporary society, due to the fact that is the urban space which designed according to Islamic rules, as literatures proved was always the social containers for the inhabitants.
Previous studies tried to clarify the strategy of continuity in architecture, in different domains from several point of views , especially in concern to urban space and how to create the continuous architectural product., whish is not very clear yet, that it deals with several related levels which demands to solve it hierarchy. This was the initially motives to start this research, in sight of objective and comprehensive basis to explain it’s initial basis.
According to this the research adopted an attitude to clarify the strategy of the formal continuity in the urban space to defined the formal vocabularies for the urban space in the Islamic Arabic cities, and reuse them as a formal references in the contemporary production to achieve temporal and spatial belonging, and improve the identity of the Islamic Arabic cities and reflects idiosyncrasy.
The object of this research is to reveal the basis of the formal continuity in urban space in the contemporary product, presuming that it affects the strategy of continuity. The analysis results for the hypotheses test in contemporary projects which were designed to reflect the formal properties of the urban space in the Islamic Arabic cities the important of the group of variables that have been derived from processes of selection, syntax, and chosen. And the possibility to achieve a contemporary design that reflects the Islamic identity for the space in contemporary method according to the mechanism of continuity, and from this sight research conclusions were put forward and recommendations were discussed.
