يهدف البحث إلى مقارنة بين طريقتين لإعداد نموذج الجاكيت الرجالي "الطريقة الأمريكية، الطريقة الإيطالية" للتوصل إلى أي الطريقتين أفضل من حيث درجة الضبط ونسبة الراحة والمظهر العام، والاستفادة مما تظهره النتائج في تحديد أفضل الطرق لتدريس نموذج الجاكيت الرجالي في مادة تكنولوجيا الملابس. تم تطبيق نموذج الجاكيت الرجالي بالطريقتين "الأمريكية، الإيطالية" على خمس قياسات جسمية (S, M, L, XL, XXL) تم اختيارهم من طلاب كلية الاقتصاد المنزلي جامعة حلوان كعينة عمدية تبعاً لتنوع قياسات الجسم، حيث حرص الباحث على أن تشمل العينة أكبر عدد من الأجسام المختلفة، وتم تنفيذ النموذجين على قماش دمور بالمقاسات المختلفة. وتوصل البحث إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين الطريقتان "الأمريكية، الإيطالية" المستخدمتان إعداد نموذج الجاكيت الرجالي للخمس قياسات جسمية (S, M, L, XL, XXL) وجميعها لصالح الطريقة الأمريكية. وأوصى الباحث: • بضرورة التحديث والتطوير المستمر للمناهج التي تدرس لطلاب قسم الملابس والنسيج بكلية الاقتصاد المنزلي في ضوء متطلبات الصناعة لمواكبة التقدم التكنولوجي السريع. • إنشاء قسم استشاري بكلية الاقتصاد المنزلي جامعة حلوان لتصميم النماذج يحقق مطالب المصانع المختلفة \
- The research aims at comparing between two methods to prepare a gent's jacket model (the American and the Italian Methods) to conclude which method is better as per the degree of adjustment, ratio of comfort, general appearance and benefit from the results in determining the best methods to teach the gent's jacket model at the subject of Clothes Technology. - The gent's jacket model was applied in both (the American and the Italian Methods) on five body measurements (XXL,XL,L,M,S) selected from the Helwan University Faculty of Home Economics students as an intentional sample as per the variation of body measurements. The researcher was keen on covering a big number of different measurements in the sample. The two models were implemented on aldamor cloth. - The researcher concluded that there are differences of statistical indication between the American method and the Italian method used in preparing a gent's jacket model for the five body measurements (XXL, XL, L, M, and S); all were in favor of the American method. - The researcher recommended the following: 1. The necessity of on-going modernization and development of the curricula taught to the students at the Clothes and Textile Department, Faculty of Home Economics in light of the requirements of the industry to cope with the rapid high-tech progress. 2. Establishing a consultation department at the Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University to design the models to meet the needs of different factories.
