The present paper analyzes the reasons of the Palestinian political freeze and attempts to answer a question on its inevitability and tracks. It is argued that it is due to 3 reasons: 1. absence of unified national program 2. disagreement on priorities 3. peace process. On the other hand, its determinants are the Arab uprisings and the Palestinian political division. The study concludes that, in order to achieve Palestinian political progress, it is necessary to set up a Palestinian national plan as well as put an end to the division. This could take place only by reconsidering the major relations regulating the political process, especially with the occupation with the common agreements. As for the Arab uprisings and peace process, which are supposed to support political action, their impact has been so weak as a result of the Palestinian powers' inability to utilize the outcomes of the revolts or the halt in the peace track. Finally, the paper recommends the following: 1. immediate ending of the division 2. promoting the national feeling of the Palestinian citizen 3. not taking any unilateral actions consolidating the division.
