|a تناولت الدراسة واقع المجلات العلمية المحكمة للجامعات السعودية على شبكة الإنترنت، والدور الذي يمكن أن تؤديه في إثراء المحتوى الرقمي العربي، وحاولت استطلاع اتجاهاتها الكمية والموضوعية، مع الإشارة إلى بعض الجوانب التقنية المستخدمة لإتاحة محتوياتها. \ واعتمدت الدراسة على منهج تحليل المحتوى Analysis ) Content) ، وجمعت بياناتها من خلال الدخول على مواقع الجامعات السعودية على الإنترنت والاطلاع المباشر على تلك المجلات .
|b This study dealt with the reality of reviewed scientific journals published by Saudi universities which are available on the Internet, and its role to enriching the Arab digital content. \ The objectives of this study to explore the quantitative and subjective attitudes, and pointed to technologies used to availably the journals in the internet. This study used content analysis methodology, and collected data from journals web sites. \ The most important results of the study are: \ •\ Humanities and Social, and Applied Sciences are the more substantive areas of the journals. \ •\ King Saud University is most publishers on the Internet, followed by King Abdulaziz University, then University of Umm Al-Qura. \ •\ All Saudi universities’ journals are available for free on the Internet. \ The most important recommendations of the study are: \ •\ Must complete the missing numbers for some journals. \ •\ Use Web 2.0 applications to provide information services such as current awareness by use RSS. \ •\ Increased journals’ web sites, specialty design and organization.
