|b This study aimed at study the effective of the six hats strategy in the development of critical reading skills among students in first grade of secondary, So the researcher followed the following procedures: \ 1-\ Preparing\ a questionnaire of the skills of critical reading suitable for this grade. \ 2-\ Preparing\ the test of critical reading. \ The sample consisted of research (60) students from El-Naser School High School in Port Said, where the sample was divided into two groups: the first group is the experimental group and number (30) students studying the way the six hats.
