هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة طيبة في تنمية قيم المواطنة العالمية لدى طلبة المرحلة الجامعية، ومن أجل ذلك صمم الباحث استبانة مكونة من (30) فقرة وزعت على ثلاثة أبعاد هي: بعد السلام العالمي وبعد الحوار وبعد التسامح بعد أن تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. وقد تكون المجتمع الأصلي للدراسة من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في كليتي التربية والعلوم بجامعة طيبة والبالغ عددهم (211) وقد تكونت عينة البحث من (163) عضوًا من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية، وبعد تطبيق أداة الدراسة على أفراد العينة وإجراء المعالجات الإحصائية اللازمة أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس فيما يتصل بدورهم في تنمية قيم المواطنة العالمية لدى طلابهم تُعزى لمتغير الاختصاص لصالح التربية، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الميدانية وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس فيما يتصل بدورهم في تنمية قيم المواطنة العالمية لدى طلابهم لصالح الذكور. في حين أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس في ممارستهم لدورهم في تنمية قيم المواطنة العالمية لدى طلابهم تُعزى لمتغير المرتبة العلمية.
The study aimed to identify the role of the faculty staff board at Taibah University in developing the values of global citizenship among undergraduate students, and for that, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (30) paragraphs distributed on three dimensions: the value of world peace and the value of dialogue and the value of tolerance after making sure of validity and stability. The source community study consisted of all faculty members in the Faculties of Education and Science, at the university of Taibah, who are (211) members . The research sample study consisted of (163) faculty members, male and female, and after the application of the instrument study over the sample and conducting the necessary statistical treatments ,the results of the study showed the existence of statistically significant differences between faculty members in relation to their role towards the development of the values of global citizenship related to their students due to the variable of specialization in favor of education, as shown by the results of the field study there were statistically significant differences between faculty members in relation to their role towards the development of the values of global citizenship to their students due to the variable of gender in favor of males, while the results showed the absence of statistically significant differences between faculty members in the exercise of their role in the development of the values of global citizenship to their students due to the variable of scientific Degree.
