هدفت الدراسة إلي استقصاء صعوبات البحث الأكاديمي في أقسام المناهج وأساليب التدريس في الجامعات الأردنية, من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس. من خلال استبانه مكونة من (59) فقرة وزعت علي خمسة مجالات, هي: ظروف العمل, وإجراءات النشر, والباحثون أنفسهم, وتحكيم البحث, وكتابة البحث. وقدمت إلي (65) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس في أقسام المناهج وأساليب التدريس في خمس جامعات. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المجالات الخمسة أكدت علي وجود صعوبات في إجراء البحوث الأكاديمية في أقسام المناهج وأساليب التدريس بدرجات متفاوتة, تراوحت بين مستويات بدرجة كبيرة جدا ومستويات بدرجة قليلة ورتبت تنازليا علي النحو الآتي: الباحثون, وظروف العمل, وإجراءات النشر, وتحكيم البحث, وكتابة البحث. وأظهرت النتائج أن مجالات صعوبات البحث الأكاديمي تختلف باختلاف عدد سنوات الخبرة, وعدد البحوث المنشورة, والرتبة الأكاديمية. وفي ضوء النتائج قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات, منها: تدريب أعضاء هيئة التدريس في أقسام المناهج وأساليب التدريس علي كيفية تحديد مشكلة البحث ومراحل تنفيذه, والتزام الدوريات المحكمة بالفترة الزمنية التي تحددها للرد علي الباحثين.
This study aims at exploring the academic research difficulties in the departments of curricula & instructional methods, in the Jordanian universities from the perspectives of faculty members, throughout a questionnaire consisting of (59) items, divided into five domains: working conditions, publishing proce¬dures, research teams, research reviewers, and writing research; distributed on (65) of faculty members in the departments of curricula & instructional methods in five universities. Findings revealed that the five areas represented difficulties in the conduct of academic research to varying degrees, ranged from very large difficulties to small extent difficulties. These difficulties have been sorted as following: researchers, working conditions, the publication process, research reviewers, and writing research. The results also showed that the domains of educational research difficulties in the departments of curricula & instruction vary depending on the number of years of experience, the number of published research, and the academic rank. In light of the results, the researchers suggested a number of recommendations, such as training faculty members at the depart¬ments of curricula & instructional methods, on how to identify the research problem, and the stages of implementation, and guaranteeing the commitment of journals to the response dates they give to researchers.
