تتحدد مشكلة الدراسة في ضعف تحصيل واستيعاب تلميذات المرحلة الابتدائية للمفاهيم الدينية، ويظهر ذلك من خلال الأداءات والاستخدامات غير الصحيحة لتلك المفاهيم، مما أوجد ضعفا في محصلة المفاهيم الدينية اللازمة لهن، بالإضافة إلى ندرة استخدام القصص القرآني لإكسابهن هذه المفاهيم. ولمواجهة تلك المشكلة قامت الباحثة بتحديد عينة الدراسة المكونة من مجموعتين من تلميذات الصف الثالث الابتدائي، أحدهما تجريبية، والأخرى ضابطة، تتكون كل منهما من (٤٠) تلميذة، وقد تم اختيار القصص القرآني تحديدا ؛ لاحتوائه على المفاهيم الدينية اللازمة لهن، وأيضا لكون القصص عامة، والقصص القرآنية خاصة أسلوب تربوي شائق وجاذب للتلميذات، وفاعل في تحقيق هدف الدراسة وهو: تنمية المفاهيم الدينية اللازمة لتلميذات الصف الثالث الابتدائي. ولتحقيق الهدف تم تصميم قائمة بالمفاهيم الدينية اللازمة لهؤلاء التلميذات، وتم ضبطها وتقنينها، وتصميم قائمة بالأداءات الموضحة لاستيعاب المفاهيم وفهمها، وتم ضبطها وتقنينها، ثم تم بناء برنامج قائم على القصص القرآني لتنمية هذه المفاهيم في ضوء القائمتين، وبما يتناسب وطبيعة التلميذات المعنيات، وطبيعة المفاهيم المحددة. وقد تم تطبيق أدوات الدراسة والبرنامج على العينة المحددة، وتم معالجة النتائج إحصائيا، وقد أسفرت النتائج على فاعلية البرنامج المقترح " القائم على القصص القرآني " في تنمية المفاهيم الدينية اللازمة لتلميذات الصف الثالث الابتدائي. \
