هدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة أثر الإنترنت على التحصيل الدراسي الجامعي والبحث العلمي (دراسة حالة: جامعة المجمعة)، وذلك من خلال استعراض مواقف طلاب الجامعات السعودية ممثلا في طلاب جامعة المجمعة من هذه التقنية، وتقييم مدى مساهمة شبكة المعلومات الدولية (الإنترنت) على التحصيل الدراسي والبحث العلمي الجامعي بالمملكة وإلقاء الضوء على أهم المكاسب التي تحققت منها والتي يمكن أن تتحقق لطلاب الجامعات في ظل تطبيق نظام تقني حديث، ومحاولة معرفة الرؤى والخطط المستقبلية لجامعات المملكة في هذا المجال الحديث، مع إعطاء فكرة واضحة وشاملة عن التطور التقني الحديث خاصة الإنترنت، وما يحتويه هذا المجال من تقنيات وأساليب حديثة يمكن الاستفادة منها في تحقيق العديد من المزايا والمكاسب في التحصيل الدراسي والبحث العلمي الجامعي، والتعرف على أهم المشاكل والمعوقات ومواضع الضعف التي تواجه الطلاب في تحصيلهم الدراسي وفي بحوثهم العلمية وعلاقة ذلك باستخدام تكنولوجيا الإنترنت من قبل طلاب الجامعة السعودية محل الدراسة للعمل على إيجاد الحلول والمعالجات. وقد حققت هذه الدراسة صحة فرضية أن هنالك علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية (طردية) بين التحصيل الدراسي واستخدام شبكة المعلومات الدولية (الإنترنت) من قبل طلاب المؤسسة محل الدراسة، كما وأن هناك علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية (طردية) بين البحث العلمي واستخدام شبكة المعلومات الدولية (الإنترنت) من قبل طلاب المؤسسة محل الدراسة، وكما اتضح صحة وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية (طردية) بين تطور أساليب التدريس واستخدام شبكة المعلومات الدولية (الإنترنت) بالمؤسسة محل الدراسة، وكما ثبت صحة وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية (عكسية) بين مشاكل الطلاب العلمية واستخدام شبكة المعلومات الدولية (الإنترنت) من قبل طلاب المؤسسة محل الدراسة. ومن خلال الفرضيات التي تقدمت خلص الباحث إلى أن شبكة المعلومات الدولية (الإنترنت) لها أثر ووجود فعلي وحقيقي وملحوظ لدى طلاب المؤسسات الأكاديمية وخاصة طلاب المؤسسة محل الدراسة. \
The objective of this research is to determine the impact of the Internet on the academic achievement of university and scientific research (case study: Majmaah University), and through review of the positions of students in Saudi universities represented in students Mqjmaah University from this technique, And assessment the contribution of the international information network (Internet) on the academic achievement and scientific research in the Kingdom, and to highlight the most important gains, which can be achieved for university students under the application of the modern technical, and try to see visions and future plans for the Kingdom universities in this area, giving a clear idea and comprehensive technical development of modern especially the Internet, modern methods and techniques can be used to achieve many of the benefits and gains in academic achievement and research university, and to identify the most important problems and obstacles and weaknesses facing the students in academic achievement in their scientific researches and their relation to the application of Internet technology in Saudi universities in the study to work to be addressed and resolved Has made this study validity of the hypothesis that there is a statistically significant (positive correlation) between academic achievement and the use of international information network (Internet) by students of the institution under study, and that there is a statistically significant (positive correlation) between scientific research and the use of international information network (Internet) by students of the institution under study, ana as it turns out a statistically significant relation (positive correlation) between the development of teaching methods and the use of international information network (Internet) by students of the institution under study, and also proved a relationship was statistically significant (inverse) between the problems of students scientific and the use of international information network (Internet) by students of the institution under study. Through the assumptions researcher concluded that the international information network (Internet) effect and the existence of an actual, real and noticeable among students m academic institutions, and that these institutions and their students have benefited from this new technology, it has a great importance, especially with regard to academic achievement and research scientific, and that these institutions and their students are working to keep up and keep pace with this modem technology, solve problems and constraints they face, creating the right climate inside these institutions. In light of these results, the researcher provided some recommendations, to be there is a safe working environment for the international information network (Internet) to be available to all academic institutions, Saudi Arabia and its students, and to strengthen the technical capacity of international information network (Internet) and networks, current information to these academic institutions, ana the Ministry of Higher Education Saudi Arabia to develop promotional programs aimed at increasing the level perceive the senior management of institutions Saudi Academy of benefits and opportunities provided by the applications international information network (Internet), and that there is more attention by senior management of these institutions to raise the level of internal infrastructure of international information network (Internet), and raising the level of skill and experience ofstudents in these institutions in the field of international information network (Internet), and facilitate the access of students of these institutions to international information network (Internet), and develop their abilities in this area, so they can produce research of high scientific quality based on technology advanced, and cooperation between the students of these institutions, and their respective academic institutions, and companies develop information systems for the development of mechanisms and a variety of applications for international information network (Internet), to take advantage of the progress reached by other countries technologically advanced, so as to ensure the quality of academic work and academic achievement for students, and to clarify the positive impact of the applications the international information network (Internet) in the level of student performance and increase their self- confidence to keep pace with developments in this area, and create a spirit of initiative among the students, through the adoption of programs at the university level, to reward students who exhibit excellence in the application of the international information network (Internet), and consequently the level of resistance to this new technology, and the prevailing culture of international information network (Internet) on all activities and areas, increasing their research and scientific quality of the university academic achievement and its development.
