يُعد مفهوم الذات من العوامل الموجهة للسلوك بناءً على الصورة التي يفهم فيه الإنسان نفسه، وينعكس مفهوم الذات في وصف الفرد لذاته كما يتصورها هو وكما يتصورها الآخرون والتي يتمثلها الفرد من خلال التفاعل الاجتماعي مع الآخرين والتصورات التي تحدد الصورة المثالية للشخص الذي يود أن يكون، ووظيفة مفهوم الذات وظيفة دافعية وتكامل وبلورة عالم الخبرة وهو المتغير الذي يوحد الفرد في وسطه ولذا فإنه ينظم ويحدد السلوك، ويدل مصطلح تقدير الذات على مدى تقبل الفرد لنفسه بما فيها من سلبيات وإيجابيات ومدى تقديره لخصائصه العامة، حيث يتضمن تقييما شاملا لكل جوانبها: الشخصية والاجتماعية والتربوية والمهنية، وكلما انخفض تقدير الفرد لذاته كان أقل تقبل لنفسه، ولذا فإن هذا البحث مهم لكونه يعطينا صورة للطلاب الذين يتمتعون بتقدير عالي لأنفسهم ومدى تأثيره على تحصيلهم الدراسي. لقد هدف البحث الحالي إلى: 1- الكشف عن العلاقة بين تقدير الذات والتحصيل الدراسي لدى عينة من طلبة قسم التاريخ بكلية التربية للعلوم الإنسانية/ جامعة الأنبار. 2- الكشف عن الفروق بين الطلبة في مستوى تقدير الذات تبعًا لمتغير الجنس لدى طلبة قسم التاريخ بكلية التربية للعلوم الإنسانية/ جامعة الأنبار. وتحقيقًا لأهداف هذا البحث فقد قامت الباحثة بتطبيق مقياس تقدير الذات المعد من قبل روبرت ريزونر والمتكون من عشرين فقرة على عينة مكونة (120) من طلبة الجامعة وبعد تطبيق المقياس وجمع المعلومات ومعالجتها إحصائيًا باستخدام معامل ارتباط بيرسون والاختبار التائي. توصل البحث إلى: 1- وجود علاقة قوية بين تقدير الذات وبين التحصيل الدراسي. 2- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الجنسين. واستكمالا للجوانب ذات العلاقة بهذا البحث، فقد أوصت الباحثة بـ: 1- ضرورة تركيز الآباء والأمهات على أساليب التربية الصحيحة للأبناء في تحقيق استقلاليتهم وتقديرهم العالي لأنفسهم الذي يساهم في تحصيل دراسي عالي. 2- ضرورة اهتمام المعلمين والمربين بتطبيق أفضل الوسائل والأساليب النفسية التي من شأنها بناء تقدير عالي للذات لدى طلاب المراحل الابتدائية والمتوسطة ليسهم في تحقيق تحصيل دراسي عالي عند وصولهم إلى مراحل دراسية عليا.
The concept of self- factors- oriented behavior based on the picture that understands the man himself, and reflected self- concept as an individual to the same as envisioned is also envisioned other and represented by the individual through social interaction with others and perceptions that define the perfect picture of the person who wishes to be, and function self-concept and function of defense and the integration and development of world experience, a variable that unites the individual in the middle, so it regulates and determines behavior, and affect self- esteem and indicates the term self-esteem on the receptivity of the individual to himself, including the pros and cons and the appreciation of the characteristics of public, where containing a comprehensive assessment of each aspects: personal, social, educational and professional and the lower the individual's self- esteem was less accepted for himself, and therefore, this research is important because it gives us a picture of the students who are highly appreciated for themselves and the extent of its impact on academic achievement. The objective of this research is the following: 1- Disclosure of the relationship between self-esteem and academic achievement among a sample of students in the Department of History, Faculty of Education, Humanities / Anbar University. 2- To detect differences between students in the level of self- esteem according to the gender variable among the students of the Department of History, Faculty of Education of the Human Sciences / University of Anbar. To achieve the objectives of this research, the researcher applying a measure of self- esteem prepared by Robert Rozonr and consisting of twenty paragraph on a sample of (120) university students and after the application of the scale to collect and process information statistically using Pearson's correlation coefficient and test Alta?a The research found: 1- The lack of a strong relationship between self- esteem and academic achievement. 2- There is no statistically significant differences between the sexes. Complementing the relevant aspects of this research, the researcher recommended: 1- The need to focus parents on proper education methods for children in achieving their independence and their high appreciation for themselves, which contributes to high academic achievement. 2- Paying attention to teachers and educators apply the best tools and psychological techniques that will build high estimate of students at the elementary and middle to contribute to the achievement of high academic achievement on arrival at the postgraduate stages.
