إن الحاجة للغة الإنجليزية في السودان تزداد لعدد من الأسباب على الرغم من التدني الواضح في مستوى الطلاب فيها. هذه الدراسة محاولة لتحديد المشكلات التي تواجه تعليم وتعلم اللغة العربية في جامعة الخرطوم. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، تم توزيع استبانة لـ 303 طلاب بالمستوى الثاني بالجامعة لتحديد المشكلات التي تواجههم في تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية. أوضحت النتائج أن هذه المشكلات ناتجة عن الطلاب أنفسهم، عن المنهج، عن البيئة التعليمية، ونسبيا عن الأساتذة قدمت الدراسة بعض الحلول لهذه المشكلات. The need for English language in Sudan is increasing rapidly for a variety of reasons, despite the fact that there is a severe decline of the students' standards of English. This study tries to locate the problems that confront the learning and teaching of English language at University of Khartoum A questionnaire was distributed to 303 second year students at the university to investigate the problems that face them in learning English language. Results show that the problems related to the students themselves, the syllabus, the learning environment, and relatively to the teachers. Some recommendations were given to solve these problems. |
