هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد مفهوم الجودة وإدارتها في التعليم العالي. وسعت إلى وضع معايير البناء وإدارة الجودة في التعليم العالي. واهتمت بمتطلبات الجودة في التعليم العالي ومعوقات تطبيقها. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وأوصت الدراسة بإتاحة قدر أكبر من اللامركزية والحرية بتفعيل روح الديمقراطية لتحقيق التطوير والإبداع في جميع مجالات العمل الجامعي من خلال المجالس والمؤتمرات. وضرورة الحد من أساليب التقويم القديمة في امتحاناتها المبنية على الحفظ والاسترجاع وتبني أساليب التقويم المتكامل المستمر لأداء الطالب الذي تقيس قدراته الحقيقية. وأكدت على تطوير العلاقة بين الكلية والمجتمع حتى تصبح شراكة فعالة. وتعزيز العمل الجماعي من خلال الأبحاث والمشاريع الكبيرة. وأشارت إلى توظيف نظم المعلومات والتكنولوجيا في تطوير أداء أفراد الكلية. والعمل على ربط عملية اتخاذ القرار باحتياجات الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والموظفين والعاملين والمجتمع الجامعي. وأبرزت أهمية وضع معايير واضحة المعاني ومعروفة للجميع لصالح التعليم بالكلية الذي نطمح له في كل فرقة دراسية ومقارنتها بالمعايير العالمية. وشجعت على تشكيل فريق محايد للتقويم الخارجي. وعلى التغذية الراجعة وإعادة التخطيط والمتابعة وسهولة وفاعلية الاتصال. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The study aimed at defining the concept of quality and its management in the higher education. It sought to develop building standards and quality management in the higher education and was concerned with the requirements of quality in the higher education and the obstacles to its application. The study used the descriptive analytical method. The study recommended allowing greater decentralization and freedom by activating the spirit of democracy to achieve the development and creativity in all fields of the university work through the councils and conferences and the need to reduce the methods of the old evaluation in the tests based on the conservation, retrieval and adopt the methods of continuous integrated assessment of the performance of the student which measures its real capabilities. It also stressed the development of the relationship between the college and the community until it becomes an effective partnership and promoted the teamwork through the researches and the large projects. It referred to the use of the information systems and technology in the development of the performance of the college personnel and work to link the decision-making process to the needs of students, faculty, staff, employees and the university community. It also highlighted the importance of setting clear and well-known criteria for the benefit of the college education that we aspire to in each class and comparing them to the international standards and encouraged the formation of a neutral panel for the external evaluation, feedback, re-planning, follow-up, ease and the effectiveness of communication.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
