The aim of the research is to uncover the importance of the critical thinking in the age of globalization among the college students. The descriptive analytical approach was used in clarifying the definition of globalization, the most important pros and cons of globalization, the definition of the critical thinking and the components of the critical thinking that are the knowledge base, external events, personal theory, the sense of contradiction or divergence and the solution of contradiction. The research dealt with the standards of the critical thinking and represented in clarity, health, accuracy, linkage, depth, breadth and logic. The research dealt with the skills of the critical thinking including the identification of assumptions, interpretation, reasoning, inference and the evaluation of arguments. The research explained the importance of the critical thinking for the university students and the critical thinking about globalization. The research recommended the need for increased interest by the researchers in the subject of the critical thinking which confirmed the previous studies that it has become an educational goal at all levels of study and all disciplines and at the local and international levels with a focus on the development of the critical thinking, skills and its importance, as well as making the educational curricula more realistic and appropriate, encouraging the development of the critical thinking among university students, studying how to develop the critical thinking in different ways and study the environment to develop and focus on the design of online education courses to develop the effectiveness of the critical thinking in the present age considering that the Internet is the language of the age.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
