ينهض هذا البحث المعجمي بمناقشة إشكالية من إشكاليات تقنية التعريف في المعجم العربي، ألا وهي عبارة المعجميين وهو معروف، بأنماطها المختلفة. وهي تقنية إحالية، تقوم على فرضية معرفة القارئ بمحددات المدخل أو اللفظ الموصوف بهذه الصفة، واختزال المكان والزمان- فضلا عن البشر- في شريحة واحدة. فهي من باب الإحالة إلى المعرفة والثقافة. وهي- على هذا- إحالة مخصوصة، ولا تندرج تحت التعريفات الموضوعية التي تنتمي إلى مناهج التعريف العامة، كالتعريف الاسمي أو المنطقي أو البنيوي. والبحث يضع بين يدي الباحثين في المعجم، والعاملين على تطويره وتنقيته صورة بينة المعالم، لحقيقة استخدام هذه التقنية، ينبغي ألا تغيب عمن يشتغل في هذه الجهود، بعيدا من الظن والتخمين. والبحث يقوم على المنهج الوصفي الإحصائي، وقد تتبع هذه التقنية في عشرات الآلاف من المداخل، وما يتصل بها. من بدايات التأليف المعجمي إلى طائفة ممثلة من جهود المعجميين المحدثين في هذا الميدان، شاملا كل المدارس المعجمية العربية، وقد حفل بالإحصاءت والتحليلات التي تجلي هذه التقنية عند القدماء والمحدثين، مبينا اتجاهاتها، وطرائق المعجميين في استخدامها، والأطر المنهجية التي سلكها أولئك المعجميون في سبيل استخدام هذه التقنية. وخلص البحث إلى أن هذه التقنية هنة من أبرز هنات المعجمات، في استخدام تقنيات التعريف عند القدماء والمحدثين. وبعد، فالبحث يدعو إلى التخلص من هذه التقنية ونبذها، ما لم تستند إلى محدداتها الرئيسة: الزمان، والمكان، والإنسان، فضلا عن سائر المحددات، فالمعروف وصف لا يمكن أن يكون منبتا من سياقه المعرفي القائم على الأقانيم المذكورة، وغير ذلك ضرب من والالتباس والخلط، هو أبعد ما يكون من هدف المعجمي وغايته
This research aims at discussing one controversy of the definition techniques in the Arabic lexicon which is the almagamaan’s (lexicologists) phrase “it is known” in its multi forms. This technique is a referential one supposing that the pre¬knowledge reader of the reader of the determinants of the entry or its pronunciation ignoring place and time -and people- in one template. It is a matter of referral to knowledge and culture, They refer to this specific, And do not fall under the definitions objectivity that belong to the general curriculum definition, such as the definition of nominal or logical or structural Also this research made it available to all those dealing with researches in the lexicon in terms of development and purification to see a crystal-clear picture of this technique usage on which nobody could ignore away from guessing or probability. It is based on the descriptive statistical, and analyzes thoroughly ten thousands of lexicon entries and studied whatever related to them starting from early work in lexicon authoring and reaching to presenting a representative sample of the efforts of modern almagamaans in this field from different Arabic lexicoloical trends. Moreover, this research includes analysis and statistics in the aim of making this technique clearer to both modern and old lexicologists. That is to say that this research focuses on the trends and methodologies of the concerned people. The research concluded that this technology is a major defect among others in lexicons in the use of definition technologies of both the modernist and the oldest. Finally, this research recommends rejecting and getting rid of this technology unless it is based on its main determinants that is, people, time and place, in addition to other determinants like, sex, kind, interval. What is known is a description cannot be stemmed from its cognitive context based on above mentioned conditions, thus other than that it will be one form of ambiguity or typecast.
