هدف المقال إلى الكشف عن ملامح تحولات الإقليم وخيارات حماس الصعبة. واشتمل المقال على أربعة محاور. تناول الأول رؤية حركة حماس للتغيرات الدراماتيكية التي يشهدها الإقليم. والمحور الثاني تناول أسباب وأبعاد مأزق حماس. كما عرض المحور الثالث تفاقم أوضاع قطاع غزة ما بعد يونيو 2013م. وفى المحور الرابع والأخير طرح خيارات حماس والتيارات المتنافسة داخلها. واختتم المقال ببعض الاستنتاجات منها أن خيار حماس لم يعد بيدها مثلما هو الحال الفلسطيني الذي تحمل بعض المسؤولية عما آلت إيه أوضاعهم. وأن حماس تعيش لحظة غير سياسية تبحث عن مخرج وتعجز عن تقديم مبادرة كاملة ترغب في الاستماع إلى رأى الآخرين وترفض تقديم تنازلات. وتدرك صعوبة الاحتفاظ إلى الأبد بغزة المحتقنة بأزماتها وتكتفى بالمناشدة أو بتحميل المسؤولية للأطراف الأخرى. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The article aims at revealing the features of the transformation of the region and Hamas' difficult choices. The article included four axes. The first dealt with Hamas' vision of dramatic changes in the region. The second axis tackled the reasons and dimensions of Hamas's impasse. The third axis also presented the worsening situation in the Gaza Strip beyond June 2013. In the fourth and final axis, Hamas's options and the competing currents were demonstrated. The article concludes with some conclusions stating that Hamas's option is no longer in its hands, as it is concerning the Palestinian case, which has taken some responsibility for what has changed its situation. Furthermore, Hamas is living a non-political moment looking for a way out, it is unable to offer a full initiative that would listen to the opinion of others and refuses to make concessions. However, it is aware of the difficulty of forever keeping Gaza, which is suffocated by its crises, and is satisfied with appealing or making other parties take the responsibility.
