هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن واقع الاغتراب الاجتماعي لدى الشباب المقدسي. وتناول البحث تلك الظاهرة من خلال عدة نقاط تمثلت في مصادر الاغتراب الاجتماعي لدى الشباب المقدسي على كافة الجوانب السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية. بالإضافة إلى طبيعة خياراته السلوكية لتجاوز حالة الاغتراب، ومواجهة المشكلات التي أسست لها سواء بالتحايل عليها أو الانسحاب هروباً منه، ومدى انسلاخ الشباب عن مجتمعه وعجزه عن التلاؤم، وعدم قدرته على التكيف مع الواقع الاجتماعي وشعوره باللامبالاة. وأيضاً تفاقم أزمته الوجودية لتقف على حجم وطبيعة تأثير المشكلات التي يواجهها الشاب المقدسي على شخصيته وعلاقته بمجتمعه، تلك المشكلات الناجمة عن سياسات المحتل المستهدفة بمنهجية أرضه وهويته. واختتم البحث ببعض الاستنتاجات منها أن سياسات الاحتلال سلب الشباب الشعور بالقدرة وتحويله إلى شعور باللاقدرة. كما واجه الشاب الفلسطيني تضاؤل في مكانته الاجتماعية والاقتصادية وعدم القدرة على التعبير عن رأيه السياسي. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The objective of the research is to reveal the reality of the social alienation among the Jerusalemite youth. The research dealt with this phenomenon through several points represented in the sources of social alienation among the Jerusalemite youth on all the political, economic, social and cultural aspects. It tackled also the nature of their behavioral choices to overcome the alienation situation, confronting the problems that have been established for them by either circumventing them or withdrawing from them. Moreover, it handled the extent of the youth's alienation from their society and their inability to adapt, their inability to adapt to social reality and their feelings of indifference. The research explained as well the aggravation of their existential crisis to stand on the size and nature of the impact of the problems faced by the young Jerusalemites on their personalities and their relationship with the community; those problems resulting from the targeted policies of the occupier regarding his methodology of land and identity. The research ended with some conclusions; that the policies of the occupation deprived the youth of the feeling of ability and turned it into a sense of non-ability. Furthermore, the young Palestinians have faced a diminishing in their social and economic status and an inability to express their political opinion..
