المستخلص: الاستشراق هو دراسة الغرب الشرق واتخاذه موضوعا أساسيا للمعرفة وذلك من خلال إنتاج خطاب في ضوء رؤية الذات إلى الآخر وفق منطلقات ومرجعيات مرتبطة بالسياق التاريخي.
وشكّل الاستشراق الإسرائيلي جزءا من هذا الاستشراق مع بروز خصوصيته النابعة عن طبيعة العلاقة بين اليهود والعرب المتسمة بالتوتر الدائم والصراع المحتدم، واهتم الاستشراق الإسرائيلي بالأدب العربي القديم منذ أن صمّمت الصهيونية على إقامة دولة في فلسطين، فشرع المستشرقون الإسرائيليون في قراءة التراث العربي بنصوصه المختلفة بهدف الوقوف عند خصوصية العقل العربي عبر التاريخ وتحليل مواطن الضعف والقوة بغرض الهجوم والنقد.
وسنحاول في هذا المقال تحليل بعض الكتابات الاستشراقية الإسرائيلية المعاصرة التي تناولت الأدب العربي القديم باعتباره مكونا أساسيا من مكونات الأمة العربية، فكيف تلقى المستشرقون الإسرائيليون النص العربي القديم، ما هي الآليات الوظفة ؟ وما مدى تأثير الأيدولوجية الصهيونية في مقاربة المستشرقين الإسرائيليين للنص العربي القديم ؟
وللإجابة عن هذه الأسئلة نقترح المباحث الآتية:
1- مقاربة تاريخية للاستشراق الإسرائيلي المعاصر (الإشكاليات والأبعاد)
2- ترجمة الأدب العربي القديم في ضوء الاستشراق الإسرائيلي
3- قراءة في نماذج استشراقية إسرائيلية: (رينا دروري ويوسف سدان)

Orientalism refers to the West’s study of the East and adopting it as a central theme through the production of a discourse, in light of imposing the view of one’s self upon the other according to bases and references connected to historical context. The Israeli orientalism represented a part of this orientalism with its distinctiveness stemming from the nature of the relationship between the Jews and the Arabs, characterized by constant tension and intense conflict. The Israeli orientalism concerned itself with Arabic literature from the time that the Zionists became intent upon establishing a state in Palestine. The Israeli orientalists began to read the Arabic literary heritage with its various texts with the aim of examining the specificity of the Arab mind across history and to analyze the points of weakness and strength for the purpose of attack and critiquing. In this article we will attempt to analyze some of the contemporary Israeli orientalist writings related to the classical Arab literature, as a main component of the Arab nation. So, how did the Israeli orientalists interact with the classical Arabic text and what were the tools used? And what was the extent of the influence of the Zionist ideology within the approach of the Israeli orientalists in relation to the classical Arab text?
To answer these questions, we suggest the following areas of research:
1 - The historical approach of the contemporary Israeli orientalist (Problems and dimensions).
2 - Translation of the classical Arab literature in light of Israeli orientalism.
3 - A reading in respect to models of Israeli orientalism (Reina Drori and Yousef Sadan).
