المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة توافر متطلبات تطبيق ستة سيجما وأبعاد الميزة التنافسية ببعض كليات جامعة جنوب الوادي، والمعوقات التي تواجه تطبيق ستة سيجما، وسبل مواجهة هذه المعوقات، ولمعالجة مشكلة الدراسة استخدم المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (275) فرداً منهم (115) من أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم، و(106) من أعضاء الجهاز الإداري في العام الجامعي 2012/ 2013م، واستخدمت استبانة وزعت على العينة، احتوت على (4) محاور و(11) بعداً متضمنة (112) عبارة، وقد جرى التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وقد أظهرت الدراسة أن استجابات أفراد العينة حول درجة توافر متطلبات تطبيق ستة سيجما وأبعاد الميزة التنافسية كانت بدرجة متوسطة في جميع الأبعاد، وأظهرت الدراسة وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين توافر متطلبات ستة سيجما وتحقيق الميزة التنافسية، كما أظهرت فروقاً ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات العينة طبقاً للمستوى الوظيفي والكلية، في حين لا توجد فروق طبقاً للخبرة، وكانت أبرز معوقات تطبيق ستة سيجما، نقص الإمكانات المالية، وقلة دعم الإدارة العليا، وأبرز سبل مواجهة المعوقات، دعم الإدارة العليا، وإيجاد بيئة عمل تتوافر فيها العوامل الأساسية لتطبيق ستة سيجما.

Hurghada Faculty of Education - South Valley University The purpose of this study is to investigate the availability requirements of the application of Six Sigma and competitive advantage aspects in some faculties at South Valley University, The constraints facing the implementation of six sigma , and ways to address these constraints. To address the problem, the study utilized the descriptive approach, The sample consisted of (275) participants, including 115 staff members and their associates, and (160) of the members of the administrative for the Academic year 2012/ 2013, To identify the distributed sample, it contains (4) axes and (11) dimensions including (112) items, Its truthfulness and consistency have been verified. The study showed that the responses of the respondents about the availability requirements of the application of Six Sigma and competitive advantage was moderate in all dimensions. The study showed a positive correlation between the availability requirements of Six Sigma and competitive advantage, It showed significant differences between the sample responses according to the functional level and College. There are no differences according to experience. The most significant constraints to apply Six Sigma, a lack of financial means, Lack of senior management support, Highlighted ways to address constraints, support of senior management, and the creation of a work environment are essential factors for the application of six sigma.
