Information architecture is an important issue in organizing and structuring information on educational Websites. Designers and students need to know how Websites work. This study investigates the ways according to which information architecture is used on educational Websites to access information. As well, it addresses the ways of using information architecture to access information by developing an outline for a particular hypothetical educational Website. This will provide students and designers with a background about the use of information architecture to access information. The main findings of this research is that information architecture can be used in different ways in designing educational Websites and in accessing web content |
