In this study a creativity model, is established along the lines of Amabile et al. (1996), to measure stimulants and obstacles to creativity in banking sector work environment. Although the data supports the proposed model to a great extent, still the KEYS scale developed by Amabile et al. (1996) may be insufficient to accommodate different management styles, different organizations, and other cultures beside the western culture. Therefore, further refinement is needed to enlarge the domain of its application and also extend its applicability to embrace other cultures. We have considered organizational productivity as an outcome beside the organizational creativity, which was not included in the original model of Amabile et al.(1996). Surprisingly enough the results showed larger total effect, of stimulants, on organizational productivity than organizational creativity. These findings pointed out the lack of the current KEYS scale to embrace other environments.
