إن مهنة التعليم من المهن المقدسة والشريفة التي تحتاج إلى بيان فكر أئمة أهل البيت الأطهار ولبناء حضارة إسلامية أصيلة، فكلام الأئمة (عليهم السلام) لما لهم من العلم النير والبيان التام في العلم والتعليم وأخلاقياته وربما وصلنا من آثارهم وأفكارهم القيمة العملاقة. لنخلص بالنتيجة إلى: أنه يجب على المعلم أن لا يمتنع من تعليم أحد لكونه غير صحيح النية، فالامتناع من تعليمهم يؤدي إلى تفويت كثير من العلم، مع أنه يرجي ببركة العلم تصحيحها. كما يجب على المعلم إذا أشعر من المتعلم فساد النية أن يستدرجه بالموعظة الحسنة، وينبهه على خطر العلم الذي لا يراد به الله، حتى يقوده إلى القصد الصحيح، فإن لم ينجح ذلك، ويئس منه يترك حينئذ ويمنعه من التعلم، فإن العلم لا يزيده إلا شرًا. وأوضح أئمة أهل البيت (عليهم السلام) في طروحاتهم أن يغتنم الفتيان صغرهم بالعلم والأدب، وأكدوا على اختيار المعلم الصالح، والتي يجب أن يتحلى بصفات كثيرة منها أن يكون متواضعًا، وصادقًا وعابدًا، ذا خشية من الله، ومن صفات العالم أيضًا التفهم والتدبر والتفكر، والحلم والصمت. وهناك أداب يجب أن يتأدب بها العالم والمعلم منها أن لا يخرج إلى الدرس إلا بكامل الأهبة، وما يوجب له الوقار والهيبة في اللباس والهيئة والنظافة في الثوب والبدن، ويختار له البياض، فإنه أفضل لباسًا. وإذا سئل المعلم عن شيء لا يعرفه، أو عرض في الدرس ما لا يعرفه، فليقل: لا أعرفه أو لا أدري أو حتى أراجع النظر في ذلك. ولا يستنكف عن ذلك. كما نجد من آداب المعلم أن يساوي بين المتعلمين. واتبع أئمة أهل البيت (عليهم السلام) في إلقاء الدرس أسلوب البساطة والسهولة وفي عرض المادة، واعتبروها من آداب وصفات المعلم. إن من آداب (المتعلم) مع شيخه وقدوته ومعلمه ما يجب عليه من تعظيم حرمته كما أشار أئمة أهل البيت (عليهم السلام) أن لا يكثر عليه السؤال تعنتًا، ولا يأخذ بثوبه، وإذا دخل المتعلم على شيخه [وعنده قوم] فيسلم عليهم جميعًا، ويخصه بالتحية دونهم، وأن يجلس بين يديه ولا يجلس خلفه، ولا أن يغمزه بعينه، ولا يشر بيده، ولا يضجر لطول صحبته. ومن آداب المتعلم التي أكد عليها أهل البيت (عليهم السلام) مسألة حسن الاستماع، والتدوين والكتابة، وأن من آداب المتعلم السؤال تفقهًا لا تعنتًا. فإن أهل البيت (عليهم السلام) اتبعوا المناهج العلمية الصحيحة في التعليم والطرق والأساليب، وأعطوا الفكر والطروحات المتكاملة في آداب وأخلاقية مهنة التعليم والتقدم نحو السمو والعرفان لبناء هيكلية المعلم والمتعلم الصحيحة وللارتقاء نحو حضارة إسلامية عالمية. \
