المستخلص: This study aimed at assessing the effect of using multiple intelligences on English Language Class Teacher students' performance in reading skills. The sample of the study comprised (416) male/female English language class teacher students during the first semester 2006/2007 at Mutah University. (210) students were taught using the traditional way and the experimental group (n. =216) was taught what using Gardner multiple intelligence theory. Results showed that students in the experimental group performed better overall performance for the academic year than the students in the control group who were taught using traditional teaching methodology. Results of the study also showed that, female students had greater reading improvement due to the use of the multiple intelligences. In light of the results of the study, the researcher addressed some recommendations to concern.
