المستخلص: L'objet de cette étude, qui a été menée dans la wilaya de Bejaia est de présenter la situation de la filière avicole dans la région. Le développement de la filière avicole en Algérie était en grande partie, le résultat des politiques incitatives mises en œuvre au cours de la décennie 80 qui visait à couvrir le déficit en protéines animales dont soufrent les algériens. Malgré la prédominance des zones montagneuses dans la wilaya de Bejaia, la filière avicole a enregistré un développement très considérable ces dernières années. En effet, cette filière a attiré beaucoup d’investisseurs privés, ces derniers se sont engagés dans l’élevage, la production d’aliments, la transformation des produits avicoles et dans l’importation.... Malgré ces efforts des pouvoirs publics, cette filière souffre de beaucoup de difficultés qui entravent son bon fonctionnement.

The aim of the study, which was conducted in the province of Bejaia is to present the situation in the poultry industry in the region. The development of the poultry industry in Algeria was largely the result of the incentive policies implemented during the 80s that aimed to cover the deficit in animal protein Algerian suffers. Despite the predominance of mountainous areas in the province of Bejaia, the poultry sector has recorded a considerable development in recent years. Indeed, this sector has attracted a lot of private investors; they are engaged in farming, food production, processing of poultry products and the import…. Despite the efforts of the authorities, this sector suffers from many difficulties that hinder its operation.

تهدف هذه الدراسة التي أجريت في ولاية بجاية إلى عرض الحالة الموجودة في شعبة تربية الدواجن بالمنطقة التطور الذي شهدته هذه الشعبة راجع إلى الجهود المعتبرة المبذولة من طرف الدولة في الثمانينات بغرض تشجيع وتطوير هذه الشعبة وتغطية العجز والنقص في البروتينات الحيوانية الذي يعاني منه المستهلك الجزائري، بفضل هذه المجهودات المبذولة من طرف الدولة استطاعت هذه الشعبة أن تجتذب العديد منه المستثمرين الخواص الذين استمروا في تربية الدواجن، صناعة الإعلاف، الاستيراد.... رغم هذا الاهتمام المعتبر من طرف الدولة، إلا أن هذه الشعبة في المنطقة مثل في باقي المناطق الأخرى في البلاد تبقي تعاني من العديد من الصعوبات التي تعيق سيرها وتطورها.
