يتناول البحث الحالي بالشرح والعرض والتعليق على البعدين النظري والتطبيقي ضغوط العمل التي تحيط بالبيئة التدريسية أثناء أداءه الجامعي، وأن هذه الضغوط تعكس سلبا على هذا الأداء لذا يحاول البحث الحالي تشخيص الأسباب الحقيقية التي تسهم في زيادة الضغوط النفسية لدى الأستاذ الجامعي الذي يعمل في الكليات الحكومية والخاصة، والمعالجات المناسبة لها من قبل الإدارات العليا المتمثلة برئاسة القسم والعمادة. وقد وزعت الاستبانة على عدد من تدريسيي كلية الإدارة والاقتصاد (جامعة بغداد والمستنصرية)، وقوامهم (40) تدريسي، وأساتذة كلية الإدارة والاقتصاد في (الرافدين والمأمون) وقوامهم (40) تدريسي، وقد تم تحليل البيانات بالاعتماد على الوسط الحسابي والانحراف المعياري وشدة الإجابة. وقد توصل البحث إلى إبراز العوامل التي تؤدي إلى ضغوط عمل الأستاذ الجامعي هو فقدان الأمان الوظيفي، عدم انضباط الطلبة في الدوام وعدم اتخاذ الإجراءات الحازمة ضدهم مما يولد حالة من الإرباك في القاعات الدراسية، والالتزامات الإدارية المفروضة على الأساتذة مما يزيد من أعباءه في أداء عمله ويعيق نشاطه البحثي والإبداعي.

Purpose - This study seeks to provide perspective based on the work pressures that surround environment faculty during his performance university, it aims to identify the real reasons behind the psychological pressures that surround teacher's university colleges government and private, which in turn significantly affect its performance.
