المستخلص: تتلخص هذه الدراسة في إبراز أهم الأسباب والآثار النفسية والاجتماعية للتلاميذ ذوي صعوبات التعلم وأسرهم، هدفت إلى تسليط الضوء على هذه المشكلة، تحليلها وتفسير نتائجها نظرا لما تخلفه من انعكاسات سلبية على الطفل وأسرته، لوقعها النفسي والاجتماعي بالاعتماد على عينة مكونة من 80 تلميذ وتلميذة في الصف الرابع والخامس، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لدراسة الظاهرة من أبعادها المختلفة، كما تعمدت المقابلة مع المعلمين، التلاميذ وأسرهم، شملت ثلاث مدارس ابتدائية، توصلت الدراسة إلى:
1- وجود بعض المعلمين غير الأكفاء، المتخرجين حديثاً في الفترة (2012 – 2013)، ونظرا لصغر سنهم (22 – 24) سنة، لا يملكون الخبرة الكافية في التعليم، يعجزون عن إيصال المعلومة كما ينبغي، مما يخلق نوع من التشويش في فكر التلميذ وبالتالي صعوبة في التعلم.
2- يتعرض ذوي صعوبات التعلم إلى ضغوط نفسية تترجم في شكل قلق شديد، الإحباط، الكآبة التوتر العصبي وانخفاض الروح المعنوية، نتيجة لصراعات داخلية مكبوتة.

This study summarizes the main causes and psychological and social effects of students with learning disabilities and their families. It aimed at shedding light on the analysis of this problem and the interpretation of its results due to its negative effect on the child and his family because of its psychological and social impact based on a sample of 80 male and female students of fourth and fifth grades, using the descriptive analytical method to study the phenomenon of its various dimensions. I also intended to interview the teachers, students and their families. Three primary schools were included. The study concluded as in the following:
1. Presence of some incompetent teachers, newly graduated in the period (2012 - 2013), and because of their young age (22-24) years, they do not have sufficient experience in education, and are unable to deliver information properly, creating a kind of confusion in the student's thought and therefore difficulty to learn.
2. People with learning disabilities are subjected to psychological stress, which turns into severe anxiety, frustration, depression, nervous tension and low morale, as a result of suppressed internal conflicts.
