Results of the study showed significant relationship between first year EFL students attributes of ability, effort, luck, motivation and task difficulty and their scores in grammar, translation and writing courses, but perception attribution did not correlate with any of tire three courses. As for fourth year students, there was significant correlation between the six attributes of AELLI and the students' scores in the three courses. T-test results showed significant difference between first and fourth year EFL students attributions for doing well and not doing well in language learning in favour of fourth year students. Finally, statistical results were discussed, and implications for English language teaching were suggested. \\\\ Attribution Theory in Mainstream Psychology
