هدف البحث إلى تعرف وجهات نظر أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية حول القيم القانونية، والسياسية، والمجتمعية للمواطنة الواجب توافرها في مناهج كلية التربية بجامعة دمشق، واتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدم استبانة لتحقيق هدف البحث، التي طبقت على عينة من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في كلية التربية بجامعة دمشق بلغ عددهم (50) بنسبة 43% من المجتمع الأصلي، وتوصل الباحث إلى أن إجابات أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية تراوحت بين أوافق بشدة، وأوافق على القيم القانونية، والسياسية، والمجتمعية للمواطنة الواجب توافرها في مناهج كلية التربية بجامعة دمشق، ولا سيما القيم المتمثلة في قيم الحقوق، والواجبات القانونية، وتعزيز قيم الديمقراطية، وتقدير الشهادة، والشهداء، واحترام معتقدات الآخرين الدينية، والبعد عن التمييز بجميع أشكاله، العرقية، والدينية، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات إجابات أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية حول قيم المواطنة الواجب توافرها في مناهج كلية التربية بجامعة دمشق تبعًا لمتغير الاختصاص، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة. واقترح الباحث إعادة النظر في بينة مناهج كلية التربية بجامعة دمشق، وتطويرها بما يسهم في تنمية القيم القانونية، والسياسية، والمجتمعية للمواطنة لدى الطلبة، والأخذ بآراء أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية حول قيم المواطنة الواجب توافرها في مناهج كليات التربية عامة، وكلية التربية بدمشق خاصة لما لها من أهمية في بناء، وتطوير هذه المناهج لتقوم بأدوارها بإعداد الطلبة المتمثلين للقيم القانونية، والسياسية، والمجتمعية للمواطنة بكفاءة، وفاعلية
This research aimed at identifying the academic staff’s viewpoint about the legal, political and society-based values of citizenship that should be included in the curricula of Faculty of Education at Damascus University. The researcher followed the descriptive-analytical method, and used a questionnaire in order to achieve the aim of the research. The questionnaire was applied on a sample from academic staff in the Faculty of Education at Damascus University (50 member), i.e. with an average of 43% from the original community. The researcher found that the answers of the academic staff ranged from (I strongly agree) and (I agree) about the legal, political and society-based values of citizenship that should be included in the curricula of Faculty of Education at Damascus University, especially those that are crystalized in the legal rights and the obligations, consolidating the democratic values, appreciating the martyrs, respecting others’ beliefs and religions, and getting rid of all forms of ethnic and religious discrimination. There were no statistically significant differences among the mean scores of academic staff’s answers about the values of citizenship that should be included in the curricula of Faculty of Education at Damascus University according to Specialization, qualification and years of experience variables. The researcher suggested to review the structure of the curricula of Faculty of Education at Damascus University, and develop them, so as to contribute in the development of legal, political and society-based citizenship values among students, and consider the academic staff’s viewpoint about the values of citizenship that should be included in the curricula of academic staff in general, and academic staff of Faculty of Education at Damascus University in particular, because of their importance in building and developing these curricula, in order to play their role in students preparation with legal, political and society-based citizenship with efficiency and effectiveness.
