المستخلص: استهدفت الدراسة الحالية تعرف طرق تطور البحث العلمي في مجال التربية الخاصة من خلال عمل الفرق البحثية، وتتبع تطور هذه الفرق البحثية، وطبيعة عملها، واحتياجاتها، والمعوقات التي تعترض عملها، وكيفية التغلب عليها، وذلك بدراسة حالة الفريق البحثي "تحدي التواصل" بكلية التربية بجامعة مونتريال، حيث اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي باستخدام أداتي الملاحظة والمقابلات الشخصية، ثم حللت البيانات التحليل الرباعي البيئي، فأظهرت النتائج أن في الفريق البحثي نقاط قوة ونقاط ضعف، تمثل كل منها فرصًا وتحديات تواجه الفريق، وكشفت أهمية وجود نموذج أو خريطة بحثية تساعد الفريق البحثي على اغتنام الفرص وعلى التغلب على التحديات، بحيث يتم تفعليها في جميع مراحل العمل، بدءًا باختيار الباحثين، انتقالاً إلى اختيار الموضوعات البحثية، وصولاً إلى تطبيق هذه الأبحاث وتفعليها بالجهات المعنية، كالمدارس، كما كشفت أن التحديات التي تواجه عمل الفرق البحثية معظمها يختص بالتمويل، والعلاقات الإنسانية (كانسحاب أحد الباحثين)، وأن العمل بفريق بحثي يساعد على تكامل الأبحاث وارتباط بعضها ببعض بحيث تنتج في النهاية عملاً يخدم المجتمع.

The current study sought to identify scientific research development methods within the field of special education through the work of research teams, pursuance of the development of these research teams, the nature of their work, their requirements, obstacles their work was subjected to and how to overcome them. That was by studying the case of the research team “Communication Challenge” at the Faculty of Education of the University of Montreal. The researcher followed the descriptive methodological approach using observation and interview tools, and then analyzed the data by the quadrilateral environmental analysis.
The results showed that the research team has strengths and weaknesses, each representing opportunities and challenges facing the team. The results revealed the importance of a research model or map which assists the research team to seize opportunities and overcome challenges. That is as It is implemented at all stages of the work, beginning from the selection of researchers, moving on to the selection of research topics, and then arriving at the application of these researches and implementing them upon the relevant objects, such as schools, for example. The results also revealed that the challenges facing the work of research teams are mostly related to finance, human relations (such as the withdrawal of a researcher), and that working with a research team helps to integrate research and connect its parts with each other, so that it ultimately produces a work that serves the community.
