المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على ظاهرة العنف لدى الشباب الجامعي من حيث: أسبابها وأثارها ودور الأسرة في الحد منها، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، فقد تم توجيه أسئلة مفتوحة إلى مجموعة من طلبة الجامعة بلغ عددهم (233) طالبا وطالبة في جامعة اليرموك، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن أهم أسباب العنف لدى الشباب الجامعي هي: وجود أوقات فراغ طويلة لدى الشباب، وقلة الإمكانات المادية، ووجود العشائرية والإقليمية داخل المجتمع، والعصبية الزائدة لدى الشباب الجامعي، وعدم تقبل الآخر، وضعف الإرشاد والتوجيه من قبل الأسرة والمجتمع، وعدم وجود المرافق المناسبة للشباب لتفريغ طاقاتهم، وعدم وجود القوانين الرادعة لهذا السلوك السلبي نتيجة لانتشار الواسطة والمحسوبية، كما أظهرت النتائج أن أهم آثار هذه الظاهرة، تكمن في الآثار الاقتصادية من حيث تدمير مقدرات الوطن وتخريب الممتلكات العامة، وتعطيل عجلة التنمية، بالإضافة إلى الآثار الاجتماعية والقيمية، كخلخلة النسيج الاجتماعي، وتفكك أواصره وضعف المنظومة القيمية والتربوية، مما يؤدي إلى الانحدار القيمي، بالإضافة إلى تدمير الشباب اجتماعيا ومعنويا وأخلاقيا وقيميا، والنظرة إلى الشاب الذي لدية سلوك عدواني نظرة سلبية. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة كذلك أن دور الأسرة في الحد من ظاهرة العنف لدى الشباب الجامعي ضعيف جدا، ولا يكاد يذكر، وقد يعود السبب إلى الضغوط الاقتصادية الملقاة على عاتقها، مما يحول دون متابعة الأهل لأبنائهم، وعدم قدرتهم على توجيه سلوكياتهم الاتجاه الصحيح.

The study aimed to identify the phenomenon of violence among young university in terms of its causes, effects and the role of the family in reducing them, and to achieve the goal of the study, it has been directed open-ended questions to a group of university students numbered (233) students in the Yarmouk University, has shown results The study, the most important causes of violence among young university are: the existence of leisure long among young people, and the lack of material resources, and the presence of tribal and regional within the community, and neurological excess among young university, and non-acceptance of the other, and the weakness of guidance and direction by the family and society, and the lack of appropriate facilities for young people to unload their energies, and the absence of deterrent laws of this negative behavior as a result of the spread of nepotism and favoritism, as the results showed that the most important effects of this phenomenon lies in the effects of the economic terms of the destruction of the capabilities of the nation and the destruction of public property, and disable the wheel of development, in addition to the effects of social and value, Kkhalkhalh social fabric , and the disintegration of Oazareth weakness and educational value system, leading to a decline of values ,in addition to the destruction of young people socially, morally and ethically and value judgment, and perception of the young man who has a negative view of aggressive behavior. The study results showed that the role of the family as well as the reduction of the phenomenon of violence among young university is very weak, not negligible; the reason may be due to economic pressures placed on it, which prevents the follow-up of parents for their children, and their inability to guide their behavior right direction.
