هدفت هذه الدراسة لمعرفة رؤية عينة من طلاب كلية الدراسات التطبيقية وخدمة المجتمع بجامعة الملك فيصل بالأحساء نحو مسوغات استحداث نظام الانتساب بالتعليم عن بعد. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (105) دارسين ودارسات. وأوضحت نتائج الدراسة موافقة طلاب وطالبات كلية الدراسات التطبيقية وخدمة المجتمع من أفراد عينة الدراسة علي مسوغات استحداث نظام الانتساب بالتعليم عن بعد بجامعة الملك فيصل، حيث وافقوا علي أن الانتساب بالتعليم عن بعد يعطي فرصاً للتطوير الوظيفي ورفع الأداء، ويعطي فرصاً لأفراد المجتمع للالتحاق بالتعليم الجامعي. ويحقق الرضا النفسي والاجتماعي للمنتسبين. ولم تظهر نتائج الدراسة أية فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أفراد عينة الدراسة تعود لمتغير العمر، والوضع الاجتماعي، والوضع الوظيفي، ووجود الأبناء، والمستوى التعليمي، والجنس.
The purpose of the study was to know the perspectives of male and female students at the college of application and community service at King Faisal University toward adopting the system of enrolling the university through distance education. The study consisted of four categories, reasons for adopting this system, methods of teaching, the role of the academic adviser, and methods of evaluation. The sample of the study was ( 105) male and female students. The result of the study showed that the students agree on adopting the system of enrolling the university through distance education at King Faisal University. They agree that this system would develop job performance and promotion, provide opportunity to have university education, and provide self and social satisfaction to the enrollees. moreover The result of the study showed no significant differences among the study sample due to age, social status, the availability of children, employment status, education level, and the gender. The study recommended adopting the system of enrolling at King Faisal University through distance education using new multimedia technology in this system, using appropriate methods in teaching, and using different evaluation methods
