A foreign language can be quiet difficult especially for young learners. Unfortunately, most of our students don’t seem to reach the level required due to many reasons. Students> weakness in English language is a real issue that causes a lot of concern in our schools. A better understanding of the reasons that influence the student’s level in English language may help to improve students> performance and stimulate teachers towards change. The importance of this study lies in that it draws the attention of those responsible for teaching students about the hidden reasons that limit their abilities and hinder their learning as required The questionnaire was applied (randomly) to six basic schools distributed on different areas of Shoubak to reveal the real reasons behind the weakness of the English language students in order to find the best ways to help them to improve their learning and overcome the hidden weakness. |
