المستخلص: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of using a peer observation program in enhancing the quality of teaching in EFL classrooms at Saudi universities .The study implements an experimental design(one group-paired sample) with selection of 16full time Faculty members of English department at the academic year of 1432/33 at Majmaah University. To achieve this aim, an observation check-list was prepared by the researcher .It was applied before and after the experiment for measuring the staff members' degree of performance and their quality of teaching .Two observations weekly for four weeks were scheduled between the observer and the observed . They used classroom observation reports and feedback forms with which to gather and record data . After the post application of observation check –list ,an attitude questionnaire was applied to measure staff members' attitudes towards using the peer observation program. Results have shown that peer observation was effective in developing teaching quality for participants and their attitudes were positive toward using peer observation
