المستخلص: للمكتبات دوراً كبيراً وبارزاً في تقديم الخدمات المكتبية والمعلوماتية للمعاقين حركياً وجسدياً و قد هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى توفر خدمات المستفيدين ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بالمكتبات الجامعية بالسودان والتعرف على درجة توفر إجراءات الأمن والسلامة بهذه المكتبات وقد تناولت الدراسة الأسس والمعايير التصميمية لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في المكتبات وكذلك الخدمات المساندة التقليدية والتقنية والإنشائية وقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بشقيه (المسح ودراسة الحالة) بدراسة حالة بعض مكتبات جامعة الجزيرة. وتم توزيع استبانة موجهة للعاملين بمكتبات مجمع النشيشيبة والرازي بجامعة الجزيرة ، وتوصلت الدراسة إلي عدد من النتائج من أهمها: تتوافر الخدمات المكتبية المساندة للأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة المستفيدين من مكتبات جامعة الجزيرة بدرجة قليلة كما أنه لا تتوافر بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة التجهيزات المكانية والتي تتمثل باللوائح الإرشادية ودورات المياه والرفوف الخاصة بذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة إلا بدرجة قليلة حيث بلغت نسبة 100%،ومن أهم التوصيات :توفير البرامج والتجهيزات التقنية الخاصة بالأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة و ضرورة تدريب العاملين بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة علي كيفية التعامل مع الأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة .

Libraries have a major and distinguished role in respect to the provision of library and informational services to those who are physically disabled. This study aimed to ascertain the extent of the provision of services to beneficiaries who have special needs within the libraries of the University of Sudan and to identify the level of security and safety procedures provided within these libraries. The study addressed the design fundamentals and standards for those with special needs within the libraries, in addition to the available traditional, technical and innovative support services. The study adopted the descriptive methodological approach, with both its elements; survey and case study, though undertaking a case study of the Al-Jazeera University. A questionnaire was distributed among the staff of the libraries of Al-Nashishiba and Al-Razi of the Al-Jazeera University.
The study reached a number of conclusions, the most significant of which were: The provision of library services supporting those of special needs, beneficiaries of the libraries of the libraries of the Al-Jazeera University, is at a low level. In addition, the libraries of the Al-Jazeera University do not provide spatial equipment, represented in instruction guides, bathrooms and specific shelves for those of special needs, apart from to a very low level, reaching 100%.
From among the most significant recommendations, were: The provision of programs and special technical facilitations for people of special needs within the libraries of the Al-Jazeera University and the necessity of training the staff at the Al-Jazeera University in relation to the manner of dealing with those of special needs.
