المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على أهمية دور كليات التربية الرياضية في دعم الأمن الفكري لطلابها، استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي وذلك لملائمته لطبيعة البحث، وتكونت عينة الدراسة الاصلية من (378) طالبا وطالبة من بعض طلبة كليات التربية الرياضية في جمهورية مصر العربية، تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية واستنتجت الباحثة وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزي إلى متغير "الجنس" (ذكر، أنثي) وذلك لصالح الذكور متغير "المستوي المهارى" (لاعب، غير لاعب) وذلك لصالح اللاعبين وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزو إلى متغير المستوي الدراسي وتوصي الباحثة بضرورة توفير الإمكانيات اللازمة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لتوجيه الطلاب نحو الفكر الأمن وتجديد المناهج الدراسية بما يواكب تطورات العصر الحديث لتحتوي على مهارات عقلية مختلفة وتشجيع الطلاب على المشاركة في الأنشطة الطلابية التي تملا أوقات فراغهم.

The research aims to identify the importance of the role of the Faculties of Physical Education in supporting the intellectual security of its students. The researcher used the descriptive method for its suitability to the nature of the research. The original study sample consisted of (378) male and female students from some students of the Faculties of Physical Education in the Arab Republic of Egypt, who were chosen randomly. The researcher concluded that there are statistically significant differences attributable to the variable "gender" (male, female) in favor of the male variable "skill level" (player, non-player) in favor of the players. There are no statistically significant differences attributable to the academic level variable. The researcher recommends the necessity of providing the resources needed for faculty members to guide students towards the intellectual security and revamp the curriculum in line with developments in the modern era to contain different mental skills and encourage students to participate in student activities that fill their spare time.
