لقد بحثت هذه الدراسة حجم مشاركة رؤساء الأقسام العلمية بمؤسسات التعليم العالي بمدينة درنة في اتخاذ القرارات المتعلقة بعملهم والنمط القيادي لرؤساء هذه المؤسسات - موضوع البحث - من وجهة نظر رؤساء الأقسام التابعين لهم، وكذلك العلاقة بين مدى المشاركة للتابعين والنمط القيادي لرؤساء هذه الأقسام وخلصت إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات وبعض المقترحات التي قد تفيد في إجراء دراسات مستقبلية. وقد تم في هذه الدراسة إعطاء نبذه مختصرة عن مؤسسات التعليم العالي بمدينة درنة، وكذلك عرض وتحليل مجتمع الدراسة حسب المتغيرات الديمغرافية أي من حيث الجنس، والعمر، والحالة الاجتماعية، والمؤهل العلمي، واللقب العلمي لأفراد مجتمع الدراسة. كما تم بيان مستويات المشاركة في اتخاذ القرارات ومقارنتها بالمتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية لإجابات أفراد مجتمع الدراسة، وكذلك اختبار مدى صحة الفرضيات التي قامت عليها الدراسة، مع توضيح النمط القيادي المتبع في المشاركة في اتخاذ القرارات وقد بينت النتائج إلى شيوع نمط القيادة المتجه نحو المزيد من الديمقراطية بين رؤساء هذه المؤسسات - موضوع الدراسة-الذي وسع قاعدة المشاركة في اتخاذ القرار وهذا يثبت اتجاه الادارات الليبية إلى ديمقراطية ومشاركة القرارات في إدارة مؤسساتها العامة.
this study have been researched, the size of participation by heads of science departments in higher education institutions in the Drna city in decisions related to their work and the type of leadership to the heads of these institutions - research topic - from the viewpoint of department heads working for them, as well as the relationship between the extent of participation of the followers and the type of leadership to the heads of these departments and concluded group From the results, recommendations, and some suggestions that may be useful in future studies.It was in this study to give a brief on higher education institutions in the Drna city, as well as view and analyze study population by demographic variables of any gender, age, marital status, educational qualification, and scientific title of the study sample. It also was a statement levels of participation in decision-making and comparing averages and standard deviations for Answers community members of the study, as well as test the validity of the assumptions upon which the study, indicating the type of leadership used to participate in the decision-making has shown results to the prevalence of driving style vector towards more democracy between the heads of these institutions - the subject of the study - which expanded the base of participation in decision-making and this proves the direction of the Libyan departments to democracy and the participation of the decisions in the management of public institutions.
